Great upgrade from my old Apple TV. Especially love the new remote. I've used the previous generation remote and this is makes it easier to control everything I need from one remote. Compared to my TV's built in apps, this is faster and clearer.

I had the previous version of the Apple TV, I want to say 1080p, 4th Gen? It was working well, but the glass remote was falling apart. I had tried Sofabaton remote and it worked well with Apple TV as well, but other people in the house didn’t like it. The volume button finally gave out on that 4Th Gen Apple TV remote…These new remotes are $60 something, I couldn’t justify spending that much, so I spent 3 times much and got this Apple TV. Initially I was disappointed by the remote, later I learnt that I didn’t know how to use it. The track pad is still there, it’s built in to the dial pad or inside the directional buttons. Solid and very well built. Can I tell the difference between 1080p Apple TV and this one? Nope! Only one show seems sharper, otherwise I can’t tell the difference.

The best part is the updated remote. If you have an Apple TV 4K (1st Gen) you might not see a big difference in picture quality unless you care about the framerate and your TV can support it. Better processing in this model so it will be snappier.

I’ve bought several of these since I decided to drop my Sat TV and they’ve been great, especially how they integrate with home automation like HomeKit. Unlike some other streaming devices, there are no random ads constantly popping up and there’s Apple’s reputation for privacy. A little pricy compared to the competitors but worth it.

Got it just for air play at first. I used to use my gaming console for steaming. But the picture quality on the Apple TV 4K is noticeably better. And I tried a roku 4k. Hated it in comparison. That’s why I kept the Apple TV even though it’s way more expensive. But it’s worth it.

Love my Apple TV!! I love it so much I have purchased another one. Smooth, fast, common sense operation and menus. Air play is a game changer! All the apps work really well and load fast. Picture is really clear. LOVE THE NEW REMOTE!

Provides excellent 4K picture with ease of use. Single remote that also activates my TV and receiver with a click of a button. Compact design that feels good in the hand. Siri voice support is a tremendous search tool to find desired programing among various apps.

This Apple TV 4K 32 GB streaming device is very easy to set up and works seamlessly with my TV. It offers a lot of apps to download on a wide variety of topics. Operation of the remote control buttons is intuitively designed.

Upgraded from 1st 4K version and find the newer to have better black levels and a quicker interface. The remote is also a giant advance, while I don’t use it often it’s a much better layout and feel. Overall the best streamer by far, especially if you are already an iTunes user.

I used to be against streaming devices, due to most apps being built in to tvs and such. Even the high end tvs, over time, get overloaded…even when dumping cache and power cycles. I feel devices such as an apple tv, are far superior and give you a seemless, smooth experience for years.

I own several AppleTV devices and use them to run all of my streaming services. My oldest one is nearly seven years old and still works as well as the first day. They all run very well and are easy to setup using your iPhone, just as all Apple items are easy to setup. The wireless functionality works very well, even when tucked in behind a TV amongst a TV mount and other components. While each generation has not had much apparent changes to it, this version has an updated remote reminiscent of the first generations. The remote, being larger, heavier, with better touch controls, and added power and mute buttons make this a worthy upgrade as well. I would recommend getting this new version, or any AppleTV, especially if you are already using the Apple ecosystem.

This is my 3rd generation of Apple TV. I love these devices. I originally bought the first one to cut the traditional cable cord and this device puts my smart tv on steroids. No more maintenance cable box fees because my cable is through one of the many apps on this device. I have all my streaming apps synced across the house so all the Apple TV’s have the same home screen. I can project from my ipad or iPhone to any of the Apple TV’s in the house. They also improved the issue of the all glass remote to click wheel. Because my Daughter dropped one and cracked it. Replacement remote is $60. But they are steel now and the click wheel is just as responsive as the glass touch surface on the original 4 and 4k versions. And I even take with me when I travel. I can’t recommend this item enough if you have other Apple devices.

This product upgraded the picture quality, clarity, sound quality, and much more to my 4K tv! Love the rechargeable remote control as well! Excellent Product by Apple!!! Will by another one soon for my kids room!
