I got this for my mom. She had the older 64GB HD model with Siri remote. This is one is notably faster. And the remote is so much better.

Works grate and picture is better than i thought. After getting set up to hutale wifi set up was mostly easey. The remote is grate and works better than the remote for my roku at home. There are all the streaming apps on app store but could use more games and apple apps. App store could use more organization.

The device is really good and it works on my tvs. The quality is amazing when watching sports games. highly recommend this!!

We previously had the 1st generation Apple TV 4k, which we had upgraded from the original Apple TV. I was initially hesitant as to whether this upgrade was worth it, but I did want the new remote and the additional speed of this latest device. All in all, am happy with the decision and performance.

Regardless of the apple ecosystem, I feel this streaming box is the fastest in response, loading, buffering, rewinding or moving forward 10 seconds without any delay. Can move between different videos on different apps or services without going through any loading screen and I love that. Honestly have a bunch of apple products but felt it unnecessary really to use with the Apple TV that’s why I think it’s good regardless of it. The only downside is the price, as that could easily push away most buyers looking for a streaming box.

Improved speed and remote. Power on/off is a BIG plus on the remote. Other than date, there is not much difference from the previous model.

This is a great uograde from my prior apple tvs. The picture is crisp, and you can keep downloading new apps. The remote is a lot better too!

Here's my review I wrote when I got my first ATV4K about 3 years ago:" This was the best upgrade from my Sony 4K Smart TV apps to the ATV4K. Easy to use, have all the apps I needed and the 4k performance is awesome, even better after a few updates now I enjoy the stunning Dolby Vision quality as the awesome Dolby ATMOS sound as well. Some people hate the Siri remote but in it works great for me, it's small, no many buttons that sometimes is a headache to deal with and love the very convenient Trackpad and the Siri voice assistant. I really love it and I'm so happy I decided to upgrade my streaming to APTV4K. Definitely nothing better on the Streaming Devices market today, the ATV4K remains the best streamer you can buy, as long as you don't mind its price and you are in the Apple ecosystem." I won't change anything on this review about the new ATV4K (2nd. Generation). Same quality, same awesome experience, still a 5 Stars Streamer device if not the best. But after a few weeks using it I realized that does not worth the upgrade from my previous ATV4K (1st. Gen.). Honestly, I haven't seen any improvements on this new gen, the updated A12 Bionic chip doesn't really make justice for a better performance in audio or video in my opinion, I didn't find any difference in quality compare with my ATV4K first generation. I'm not a gamer so the HDMI 2.1 that support VRR doesn't apply to me. I will say (like others reviews) that the real deal is the new Siri remote and its couple new features, still I'm so familiar with the previous remote, that I don't find any benefit of this update personally. Will I recommend to buy the ATV4K 2nd. Generation??? YES, if you're upgrading from the ATV HD all previous generations, or other streamer boxes you're not happy with, or smart TV apps and you're in the Apple environment and looking for a streaming box. NO, if you already have the ATV4K 1st. Gen.

This has the best user interface for any tv streaming service. The setup with an iPhone is very quick and the remote is very easy to use.

Way better that any other streamer. Provides other capabilities aside from TV/Streaming if you are already on iOS ecosystem. It can act as a HUB to all your home devices. All your media content is aggregated in one menu allowing you to easily find shows/channels/movies. The picture quality is top notch if you pair the Apple TV with a decent/recent TV. Make sure to get a high quality HDMI cable. I hooked my Apple TV to a hard wired ethernet instead of WiFi. It's just a little bit more reliable this way.
