Great streaming device for Apple fans

The Apple TV is for one who is tethered to the Apple ecosystem- Airplay, Apple services, apps, it's all here and in great quality. Apple is relatively secure (compared to Android alternatives) and the App Store does have an alright selection of streaming services that can be enjoyed by most users. While there are many affordable Android based alternatives out there, the quality and security lags; you really do get what you pay for. The real value in this device is if you are tied to Apple's ecosystem with their phones, tablets, and headsets. All of them work fairly seamlessly and while there is an "Apple tax" or "premium", it can be very enjoyable and ticks off the right checkboxes for those who don't want to spend too much time setting things up and have all their devices in sync. Recommended for all Apple users.

Have loved them all including this one. It's not super obvious to me what this new one offers outside of 4K compatibility, but, then again, I don't need it to even do all that it offers. I miss some of the older generation screensaver options while interfacing with my Photos collection, but what it's for is great AND I like the new remote better than previous versions.
