Fully compatible with all apple devices and easy to navigate. This is my go-to gift for friends and family members…they all get Apple TV’s this year, small compact looks sleek and it’s a nice experience. My favorite thing is using my AirPods and AirPods max to watch good tv without waking the neighbors up.

Nobody could ever figure out the thumb-pad thing. This new remote has arrows to click and it's obvious how to use it. It's also weightier, and feels better in my hand. I wish it had better 4k offerings. 444 chroma would be nice though for better black contrasts

Good Update From Apple

Much faster load times on the menus and start-up of apps. The new remote feels a little chunky after the last one, but probably will stand up to more abuse from the kids! Easier to navigate with this remote too and the addition of the power button is really handy! Have this hooked up to a Vizio OLED TV and I'm not getting any of the issues I had before with the previous 4K Apple TV which is a welcome relief.

Easy connection even solved a problem with ARC.

I was concerned because my Samsung TV and Bose entertainment system does not play together well. The ARC sometimes works sometimes quits and is a real problem getting them to reconnect. it usually means powering everything down then resetting and reinstalling. I plugged in the Apple TV and everything connected automatically and the remote worked all components.
