I’ve used the previous generation Apple TV device, and this is a significant upgrade, displaying crisp pictures, and connecting seamlessly with my existing sound bar via Bluetooth. On occasion I’ve experienced audio lag, but on the whole the device is without par in the streaming console space.

I love my apple tv. Content looks good and it is fast. If you use apple products, you will be happy with this. I don't know if I'm a huge fan of the swiping on the remote but you can turn that off. Also, I highly recommend changing in settings the TV button to go to home. By default, it opens apple tv.

Works as expected. No issues and connected to iCloud seamlessly.

I loved everything about this device. I would recommend this to friends and family. 

So far we are loving it. Sure beats high $ cable bill

Love love love this device. It works so much better than my Alexa fire stick did and like that I can link it to my phone to use the phone as a remote. Also love that I can use airplay to transfer video from my phone to cast to the tv when moving between rooms. Fast and responsive.

I was watching all my streaming content through just my LG Oled C1 built in apps. But sometimes casting things from my iPhone to the built in Airplay would prove to be difficult. This AppleTv 4k not only solved that problem but made everything I was watching on my Oled look way better!

Apple again provides great technology with connectivity across devises. The remote is better than the previous model. Love the power button that turns off all connected TV, sound bar and Apple TV as well as the voice button on the side allowing voice search options. Completely happy with this product and all its functions.

On specs it appears better for kids games. Lots of marketing. The only reason to buy the new model, as the old model already worked great for 4K Dolby vision streaming. Imagine the disappointment on a 3 year old and 5 year olds face (and screaming) when ALL the games they like no longer work. Apple removed the ability to use the apple remote as game controller. After forcing all the developers over the past 3 years to support said remote control. And most of the iPad/iPhone games still aren’t enabled for the ATV by developers. Sure you can buy this ATV and the old remote separately, or for less money just buy the older ATV 4K with the working game remote. Apple designers must not have young kids.

I bought this to try and decided it was too much money for what it was and we already had 2 other Roku devices, so i returned it. But I was wrong. The Roku has frozen a few times and given us issues. I am thinking about buying this again to keep because it works perfectly just like all other Apple products i have tried.

Upgraded from using Roku and built in streaming apps on TV. This is a much snappier experience. Works especially great if you are in the Apple ecosystem. I like that I can near seamlessly connect my airpods to it, helps when you want to watch something late at night without disturbing others.

Really awesome 4K AppleTv.. Really like the resolution with my 4K LG 70’ TV..

Simple to use. I like siri option. Like the touch pad. Just needs to be a lower price.

If you dont have this, what are you waiting for. If youre part of the apple ECO-system, then this will be a great add-on. But I will say, there isnt much difference from the older version to the new, just a better remote... THATS IT. If you can find the older 4k generation, youre safe with that. But if you want new... Go for it.

This review is for the latest 32GB Apple TV model. While the Apple TV “box” looks to be close to the same as the previous box’s form-factor in size, the remote is much improved over the the previous generations. Finally, it comes with a mute and power button. Software driven menus and Apps are still the same. Performance-wise about the same as the previous generation, except to say, it has better longevity because it’s new. My previous AppleTV lasted only 5 years before it went dark…just quit. If I don’t get longer service out of this box, this will be the last expensive over-priced AppleTV I purchase.

The remote is a great improvement. The 4K output and the sound is also improved. Like most Apple upgrades you have to buy the TV to get a the new remote, it doesn’t work with their previous Apple TV’s. I’ve enjoyed listening to music with my 5.1 soundbar and rear speakers by Samsung/Harmon Kardon. All and all very pleased with the upgrade.
