The installation crew seemed to be in a hurry to get to the next delivery. When we tried to set up the Apple 4K Box through my phone, it didn’t connect initially and the installation crew were anxious to move on. After they left I was able to connect the 4K box in conjunction with the installation my phone finally ran.

Had the previous gen Apple TV. Recently upgraded the TV to 4K and wanted to get the enhanced experience. This was a worthwhile upgrade. The picture and sound is much more clearer than what i had. There are other 4K options in the market but if you are already into Apple ecosystem, then this is a worthwhile upgrade

So far works flawlessly. I have 3 first gen Apple TV 4K boxes. This one doesn’t seem to be much difference other than the remote. A little more snappy when going through apps from the faster processor. Have it going into a Denon AVR and then the AVR to LG C2. Awesome set up.

Good upgrade from Apple TV non 4K the remote is way better

This device makes using streaming services so much better. If you are using what came with your TV, you may find it to be slow, cumbersome, and generating mediocre picture quality. With Apple TV everything is fast and the picture is so much better. I could not believe the difference with my HDTVs. Apple has vastly improved the remote control with this model, adding navigation arrows and a better way to turn on and off. This is way better than the offerings from Google in every aspect. If you are an Apple user, you can also use it to stream Apple Music and your other content. It is a great way to connect any Apple product to your TV as well. Best Buy had a great price, and fast delivery, so I purchased 2 of them. If you have any issues with the Apple TV not controlling your TV, make sure that HDMI-CEC is turned on. Your TV may use words like Sync or link for this feature. I am totally delighted with this product as it has superior quality and design.

The boys were asking for an Apple Tv. Got them this one and it works like magic.

Works well, and Apple + is worth it for Ted Lasso and getting the occasional Friday night baseball game not blacked out. Only complaint is the operator control can be difficult to manipulate.

I replaced an older AppleTV with this 4k version, aside from the better resolution, the best upgrade is the remote. The older remote is just plain frustrating to use. The new style remote is much thicker making it easier to grip and having a "scroll" button is much easier to use than the old touch pad.

This updated remote has more weight and thickness to it. However, it still is very easy to lose and we have invested in the apple air tags to assist with keeping the remote from being lost all the time and it has seemed to help with our fear of losing this. Navigation is sensitive but still improved from prior versions.

Love it. I'm using it primarily for Apple Music so I ca listen to music in Dolby Atmos. Everything I have watched (You Tube, HBO Max, Amazon Prime) looks much better through the Apple TV 4k box than it does right off my Samsung TV apps. And if you have a home theater set up (even without ATMOS) the 5.1 music sounds amazing.

To be honest, there is not much difference between this AppleTV and the older HD version. The major difference is the remote. It is much better, but still not perfect. If you have an older AppleTV, I don't really see any need to upgrade. If this is your first AppleTV, I say go for it. You won't be disappointed.

Love it so far. New remote is a huge upgrade compared to previous versions. I’d recommend turning off the touch controls otherwise it’s too sensitive and even when you pick up the remote it’ll change depending on what you touched by mistake. A lot of the times I end up rewinding or forwarding or editing altogether by mistake.

It’s an Apple device, What’s not to love??????????

First off, this doesn't support web browsing. This was something I asked for and was told that it could do. I found out otherwise. Other than that, it works great as a streaming device and a cable TV substitute. The remote works great, and has voice recognition. That even works for passwords and such.

Another great Apple product, much easier to use than most TV’s smart option.
