Love this new tv! We had a couple of the older models and loved the Apple TV but hated the remote. It was too sensitive. This new one is much improved with a power button, mute button and you can actually click to scroll instead of just using your finger.

It works, a little better then the 1st version. But the 3rd version came out like really fast after the 2nd. So you felt kind of burnt buying this version.

Honestly, the new remote was worth it alone! The previous few generations remotes were really frustrating. Other than that, the Apple TV 4K is still fantastic! We use it every day as our main TV watching/streaming device. Quality and ease of use makes it a great option for anyone looking for an all in one streaming device.

I switched from an Nvidia shield to this. It quickly became the default Plex client for all others in my home as well as friends and family. The interface alone is simple, which to some is boring, but to the head of the tech for my family, this is a blessing.

I really like this version especially the remote a lot more durable.

There’s not much difference between this and the 4K 1st gen, only that it supports Dolby Atmos. If you don’t have Dolby Atmos compatibility, I would just stick with the 4K 1st gen. The remote is much better then 4K 1st gen and makes it easier to navigate, but don’t know if it will hold up to drops like the 1st gen did.

Great streaming box.First NO ADs Fast, faster than my Shield pro 2020(ads on home)auto plays last episode when you open an app. Great game on Apple Arcade. Even if you don’t own an iPhone I’d get this unless you’re looking for customization that’s where it lacks.

Very pleased with the Apple TV. Works much better than the built in apps on the smart tvs. Much more user friendly remote. Also works great to take on vacation to a VRBO and have access to all of your usual entertainment. Using it as HomeKit hub is bonus as well.

This is probably my 4th or 5th Apple TV I’ve bought. I love the ease and simplicity of this thing! I ended up gifting one to a family member swearing by how awesome Apple TV is. Now they love it. I’ve got two other friends to purchase them and that’s all they use now to watch any streaming video or music

Upgrading to 4K and a faster processor. Definitely an improved experience over our previous HD model. The improved installation process makes it SO simple to move from one model to the next. The biggest 'hassle' was re-entering passwords for the premium sites, but that is minimal.

The Remote! What an upgrade, and the Siri function works great; there is really almost no need for the buttons. I ended up getting the joystick and played a few games, which I feel the processor handled amazingly! So Happy I upgraded to this generation.

The Geek Squad guy recommended this latest version. He said the remote control is so much better than the previous version, and they both cost the same. He said the remote from the previous version was so hard to figure out which is the top and bottom of the remote, because they look the same. Great advice!

Great device and extracts so much less data than built in apps.

The highlight is the new remote. Much more functional and flexible although it took me a while to recognize the new placement of the Siri button and figure out best ways to fast forward and rewind and perform other operations of the click pad. Would recommend googling remote's operation to avoid frustration.

I've been waiting for the latest update of the Apple TV 4K and I must say that I'm not disappointed. It's easy to use and connects to my iPhone, iPad, or my desktop MacMini very easily and I can stream my videos to the Apple TV. An excellent buy for the Apple fan.
