I bought the Philips Hue lighting system for my tv. What I did not know is that I needed a fire stick, ruku etc.. to run apps. So it was connected to my Xbox. I went and bought the Apple TV and it works amazing. I can even turn in my cable box because I have the app for it now.

User interface is by far the best of any streaming device. Seamless internet connection is also incredibly reliable, don’t think I’ve had a single instance of lag or loading. Utilizing it has a home hub for my smart home devices is an added bonus.

Great device and extracts so much less data than built in apps.

I love the apple tv. They just work. The interface is clean and easy to use and you can get all the apps you want not just the few that come with your tv. I do have to say besiythe remote i haven’t really noticed any difference between this one and the last 4K one. Still too expensive

Love it. AppleTV is the best smart tv option in my opinion. I have all apple products so the airplay is why I enjoy it so much and all my apps/accounts are synced to the device upon startup. Also got 2nd gen 4K for Dolby Atmos(highly recommend if you have or plan to get anytime in near future).

The latest Apple TV is excellent, especially the controller which has a better feel to it, easy to use including a very responsive Siri!A little pricier than the other devices but the ease-of-use, Apple quality and controller cannot be beat, especially if you are in an apple environment at home.

Excellent - we have been using Apple TV since the first generation and really appreciate the latest version. Touch pad doesn't seem to be problematic like the last versions where they were hyper sensitive. New side control button and power button are welcome additions.

Working great for our second tv and the set up was very easy.

I have used a couple other streaming devices and this is my favorite. I use a lot of Apple devices and that helped make this very easy to set up. I do not have a 4k TV, but the audio is top notch. It is a bit pricier than other options, but I would probably buy this again when the time comes.

The Apple TV is always a solid device to have for streaming. The upgrade is well worth it and the remote being able to control the TV out of the box is a nice addition. The experience is above and beyond what most streaming devices offer, but does come with a pricing premium.

Absolutely is Apple branded and absolutely goes on my tv

I was debating back and forth between just using my LG CX OLED's built-in webOS and the Apple TV, and I don't regret the purchase after making it. The fluid experience alone is enough to justify the price if you use your TV a lot. The processor is also snappy, everything loads super quick.

The Apple TV is, in my experience, hands down the best streaming box on the market. This model is certainly no exception. The only reason I wouldn't upgrade is if you have the previous model (the first 4K one) that still works, because the upgrade simply isn't worth it. Otherwise, absolutely go for it! It's worth noting, however, that if you have a device that can get the Apple TV app (most Smart TVs and game consoles can) and you either have a TV with AirPlay 2 or don't need AirPlay, you don't need this unless you want to play games on it. For simple streaming and mirroring, it's redundant these days for the most part. (I rate the value lower as a result of this) All that said, I fit those categories exactly and I still got this for the experience it offers as a whole... which probably isn't worth the price, but I don't regret it. As an added bonus, Apple TVs work as Apple Home Hubs if you have smart devices, so that's a plus.

Upgraded from a Fire TV stock because I’m a little tired of Amazon in general. Overall, I really enjoy this unit. The interface is easy enough, it integrates with my home theater system perfectly, and no ads!

The updated AppleTV is great quality as always, but what makes this new model is the updated remote. Apple finally got it right this time. While including a version of the trackpad they added clickable buttons that surround it. Makes it a much better remote to navigate with and feels great!
