Remote could be better

The remote on this unit looks & feels better but I like the performance of the older remote better. I assumed that with the arrows on the remote you would be able to click them like other remotes, it works mostly but when I’m watching YouTube & I want to like a video I have major trouble. When clicking the arrow up to press the like button the remote either fast forwards the video or no action. I have to keep pausing, playing, rewinding the video so it doesn’t end & goto the next video just to press the like button. It is very annoying. Did not have this problem with the previous remote.
