    If you already have 1st gen 4K Apple TV, I don't think there is any need to upgrade to this model. One can hardly find any big improvement. Better hold on to the 1st gen itself. Just for the sake of new remote, no need to pay $179.

    Not a huge upgrade over the previous 4K model but the remote is the star of the show. It's slightly faster but Apple should have at least thrown in the A13 chip as this model has lower GPU performance than the model it's replacing.
