I purchased a 4K TV but had no way to enjoy out movies except for the new Apple TV. It was smart enough to know if our TV would work with the 4K and it it up it self. We also own the previous version and all we did was plug this in and it set itself up to match the previous version other than the ability to do 4K.

The Apple TV 4K is definitely a 5 star product for certain people. You fit the bill if: You have a 4K TV, are heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem/iTunes, are willing to subscribe to Netflix and/or premium channels/already have cable, and have a strong (above 20 MBPs) internet connection. UI: As per most Apple products the UI is pretty dang flawless. Navigating is easy and the Siri remote works wonderfully and is actually pretty fun to use. Folders and app re-arranging is possible just like in iOS and the amount you can download is only limited to your storage space. I bought the 64GB and have yet to even break the 32GB (base model) mark. Apps: There are a TON of apps, a lot of them with free content. Comet, Shout Factory, Mascot, and Waves to name a few. If you have Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu etc. then this is definitely the best experience for all of them. They work really well with Apple's "TV" app too for endless bingeing with it's resume and up next features. Not to mention: there's a wealth of games and other cool apps to download. Video: One of my favorite features of the aTV is how highly intelligent it is in regards to different resolutions, frame rates, aspect ratios and dynamic range. Since it's recent software update the aTV is able to automatically switch all of these to give you the original content un-altered, on even a 4K TV... Pretty neat. Device: The box itself is super slick and small. It disappears well into your entertainment center and is completely silent thanks to it's tiny fan. There's even an ethernet port on the back for all the hardwire fans. Overall I'm really happy with my Apple TV 4K. I can definitely tell that this is the direction TV will be heading in the future and it's a good start.

The 4K AppleTv is my absolute favorite streaming device. The quality of the pictures, responsiveness, and overall performance is solid. If I were to have only one complaint it would be how the remote’s layout functions. It can be very confusing to most apple product users but you get used to it after a while.

I prefer Apple TV to all other streaming devices. I have tried Roku, the Samsung Smart TV streaming format, and Amazon Fire Stick. The Apple TV runs the fastest, smoothest and has less glitches than all the others. It lasts the longest, is the easiest to get apps on, and the remote signal is much better as well. This new unit immediately pairs with the remote on my iphone, and lets me use my phone keyboard to type in the search/password bar so that I don’t have to struggle with touch pad remote. My only complaint is the new design of the remote with the track pad. It’s way too sensitive, so unnecessary, and so small. If the remote is lying on the couch and you sit on it, or go to pick it up without paying attention to which part you’re grabbing, you’ll definitely activate the touch pad and mess up your viewing. I usually just use the remote on my phone, or an old, trusty silver remote with buttons from an older Apple TV. Even with the bad remote design, this streaming device is still miles ahead of the competition, so the price tag is justified.

Apple TV is wonderful! The only bad thing is the very sensitive touch pad for navigation. Other than that the picture is great and the speed is top notch!

Not as much customization as the amazon and roku devices but definitely has the best quality and user interface. must have for chord cutting apple users.

I dropped Dish and this device is the perfect replacement, and a LOT more. I get Netflix through my T-Mobile account, I added Hulu Live, I already had an HD HomeRun in my local network. After the simple hookup and setup, I added a few more apps and now I’m saving $50 every month, plus I’m getting the exact content that I want. Buying Apple TV will also get me a free year of their new TV service which I’m looking forward to checking out. This device is more expensive than other streamers but the interface is just head and shoulders above everything else. I picked up the 32 GB version as I’m not a gamer and only plan on having 10 or fewer additional apps on top of Apple’s default app load. If you already have some Apple devices and want a 4K streaming device, you’ll love this Apple TV. The remote is a little funky, but we’re getting used to it (and iPhone or iPad work as remotes which I find a little bit easier to navigate with). This little device is also is about ten times smaller than my old Dish box, saving a ton of space and cleaning up a messy tangle of coax cables! Last but not least, the team at BestBuy did a great job explaining it all to me before I made my final decision.

I've had the older style apple TV in the past and hadn't really used in a bit. However, i've been wanting to use the Airplay mirror feature more to view my photos, and my older Apple TV's just couldn't cut it anymore, so i thought i'd try this one. Was not dissapointed; it's very fast, and I love the Siri search. It not only works for searching on Apple stuff, but it searches across all of the available apps that i have like Hulu and stuff. Now that this also has the Amazon Video app as well, I may indeed just use this as my primary video source instead

Great product love the quality of the picture and how easy it is to use. Totally worth the price, will be buying another one for my bedroom as well.

I bought this primary for streaming UHD and HDR content to my new TV. It is very easy to set up and works perfectly. The picture is outstanding!

From all streamers the Apple TV provides the best picture and streaming of all. There's no buffering at all specially when watching Directvnow.

I recently upgraded my firestick to this appletv 4k and i am honestly mad i did not do it sooner. Everything about it is better, from the processing time, picture quality, user interface, all the way down to the screensavers (which are phenomenal). The only thing I still have a hard time with is the remote. The touch pad can sometimes be a bit difficult to operate with one hand depending on what you're trying to do and if you accidentally touch it or even brush it, it might pop up an on-screen menu, It definitely takes getting used to but overall this product is so much better (for me) than the firestick. Also, Siri!!!!

This is the third Apple TV I have owned. I jumped on the 4K version when it went on sale. Either way they are worth every penny. This is the exclusive device that brings content to the TVs in our house. Just like any Apple product they’re easy to setup, easy to use, and just work well. There are plenty of apps to bring you content to your big screen. Setting up couldn’t be easier if you already have an iPhone. Just hold your phone near it and you’ll be ready to go in a minute. You’ll be connected to your WiFi and signed into iCloud and ready to download your apps. If you already have another Apple TV you can set it up to mirror your other one with the same apps installed. Pretty slick. We use Netflix, Amazon, Sling, and the occasional iTunes purchase for TV and movies. There are some great looking games on the Apple TV as well but I don’t play much of those. The device is very fast and the UI is fluid. Picture quality is excellent. Even the 1080p version is excellent. I enjoy the aerial views for screensavers. They are frequently updated so you always see new images. If you’re new to cord cutting and need an excellent streaming device I would recommend this one. I think you’ll love it for many years.

I've got Apple TV's throughout my house--a couple legacy versions, plus a couple Apple TV HD and several of the 4K. Setting up the device is a breeze -- just have any one of your iOS devices close at hand, and the setup is completely automatic. Your iTunes library is instantly at your command. I have a voluminous amount of movies and TV shows in my library, and I can call any one of them up at any time, across multiple Apple TV 4K devices, at the same time. Wired and wireless (both 2.4 and 5GHz) connections are supported. If your TV supports it, the Apple TV remote can control the TV volume. Most importantly, the most important apps for streaming are available, including but not limited to: Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, Sling, and YouTube, among others. If you're a gamer, there's a nice arcade available. I haven't tried that though, but I'm sure it's probably fun. The price tag is a bit hefty though...you can get a lot of the same functionality in an Amazon Fire Stick. However, you can't beat the Apple ecosystem -- once content is in your library, it's available on ALL your devices.

I love my Apple 4K TV. It was easy to set up,the remote control is easy to use and the picture quality is stunning speciallly on 4K content.

Works great on 4K tv. The remote takes getting used to a little but it wouldn’t prevent me from getting another. Super easy once you get it.

I have been using the apple tv for little more than a month and it never ceases to amaze me . The user interface is excellent and the entire experience is very fluid.The only concern I had is with respect to the remote .When it works , it works really good but occasionally I see minor glitches.I'm pretty sure it will be resolved in typical apple fashion with a software update .The good thing is , you can use your iphone as a remote in case the remote fails.The design is very minimalist and maintain a very low profile .One thing I'm just addicted to is the screen savers . There are many and gets refreshed very often .I have spectrum cable services and the spectrum app works flawlessly .The single sign on feature for the spectrum saves a lot of time.You just need to provide ur tv credentials just once and will let sign on other app channels that can be logged in tv provider credentials. Overall I'm really happy and would be happy to recommend to anyone though i believe it will benefit people who invested in apple eco system.

I have enjoyed an Apple TV for years. Bought this during the Christmas Holiday to go along with my new 4K TV. Very impressed with the new Apple TV. Great picture, and it seems to run faster than my old Apple TV. I especially notice that while fast forwarding or rewinding while watching movies, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc, that it does not lag. Easy set up.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. I used Roku before and it was horrible. This is easy to use, fast! Can use my phone, ipad or watch as a remote.
