I’ve been using this for a couple of months now and can say it’s definitely an improvement over any built in smart tv features I’ve ever used. It turns my tv on for me, controls the volume, and streams content on whatever platform I would need. Airplay is a nice feature as well. The only problem I have is it’s very pricey for a stream box.

User interface is typical flawless Apple. This unit is connected via ethernet so fast internet connection with no buffering. The remote is okay and does not need batteries, but I prefer to use my television (Samsung). I chose this after using Roku and Firestick. It cannot accept Kodi and always check to see if your App is available. All that I needed were available.

I really love the Apple TV because it integrates in with all of my other Apple products. It’s a must have

If you are in the Apple eco system, then you need this. Works better than built in smart tv function, and integrates well with other Apple products.

Had to exchange it for a second unit. Not wild about the newer remote design, prefer the directional pad. Expensive compared to competition but good features.

I love the convenience of this thing! I can shout to turn something on tv for my son or play some music while cooking, just by calling out to Siri. My only frustration is that the remote occasionally disconnects, so I have to go through the process of re-pairing it.

Like everything apple, this is a simple and easy product. I wouldn't say it is a necessity but it makes a great addition to your home TV. I like being able to cast to the TV and share what is on my phone. This essentially just makes your TV an extension of your iPhone and makes a great addition to any apple home

My family is Apple proned and i decided to surprise one as a gift to my 22 year old. He got it all set up and enjoys it tremendously. Either music, apps, movies, etc., its great. The small remote is easy to work with and can also be controlled from your Apple phone. The quality overall is fabulous. I recommend highly.

Love it so much, we bought another one! I've tried the Roku devices and the apps that come bundled with a TV. After using this, there is simply no comparison. What I would really like is if I could purchase a "dumb" TV with no apps - just inputs and enough firmware to run the thing. After that, I'll plug in my AppleTV and get all of the features I'm looking for. The native clients are simply much better than what I had on my Roku premier: * Plex app is cleaner and much more responsive * Netflix and Amazon Movies work seamlessly and are well integrated with both voice input and iPhone/iPad keypad * The cable apps (ABC/NBC/Fox/etc) all sign in with my cable provider easily * All of it integrates on the AppleTV home page showing you what's up next, and what I might be interested in. * Best of all, it integrates with my HomeKit devices as a hub. All my lighting, thermostats, and even garage door opener is controlled from this central location. Apple really got it right integrating everything and this AppleTV shows.

I upgraded my 1st gen Apple TV to this one. It's a great streaming device. I really like the ability to have dolby atmos surround available for movies with my surround system. All of the apps I want are available. The Apple TV loads apps very quick and everything runs great (so far at least). Very happy with this purchase.

We have a family that loves Apple products & we are definitely not disappointed with out new Apple TV 4K. Streams Crystal clear images on out 4K Tv

Bought this to replace a earlier version. Needed it to run programs that the older version would not run. So far it works great, very easy setup.

The Apple TV does a great job I like the idea of being able to download more apps than the previous model. It gives a great constant video stream.

My old original Apple TV would not allow me to download any apps. So I headed down to bestbuy to get a newer version. Well there was only one left and this lady had grabbed it. But... she wasn’t sure if she wanted to purchase it since there was some online for a few bucks more. I watched from afar as she and her band of merry friends searched endlessly for a cheaper one. To no avail, they attempted to show the Bestbuy sales person the price in the hopes of “price matching” . I decided to move in closer to see the outcome... then finally the sales person told them “sorry I can’t price match” even then the ladies huddled up and with them Apple TV box in hand... they weighed their options... then finally after a good 30 minutes, she put it down on at the check out. I then swooped in for my attack and said “hey sir is that for sale?” And of course it was... sold!!!! The group of ladies didn’t even know what happened. It’s now at my home displaying movies along with other great entertainment.

The fluid integration of TV apps makes the Apple TV stand out from its competitors. All the apps have similar interfaces that use universal gestures controlled by the remote. It is a easy to use, polished, and streamlined entertainment device. You can also turn on your tv with the apple remote! (for newer tvs)

I’ve put off getting Apple TV for so long, we have so many devices we can stream from, but once I bit the bullet and got it I realized wow I can just kind of do it all from here , no more flipping between streaming apps I can just search and it’ll find what I’m looking for wherever, it’s great! The pricing point is too high but hey it’s apple and they’re somehow allowed to get away with that... Anyways the wife loves it for its convenience , as an iPhone user I love being able to connect to it and get a little touch of what androids been doing for years, my tv has airplay built in but that never really worked right, I thought it would allow us both to use Bluetooth headsets to listen together , so we could adjust our volumes independently and not worry about the kids hearing more mature content and such, but it didn’t do this out the box, luckily we have beats headsets and the apple beta update for Apple TV includes the ability to Connect more than one Bluetooth headset , so we got that. Definitely streams well and if your an apple user, Is recommend it!

Love the Apple TV! It makes my TV a smart TV. It’s easy to hookup and instantly start watching your favorite movies and shows. Highly recommended.
