There are a couple of 4k streamers out there, But IMHO the Apple TV has the most polished interface. If you are already in the iTunes universe, then a lot of movies bought through iTunes would be automatically upgraded to 4K (If available). 15 of my movies that were bought in HD now display in 4K. Nice. I still hate the remote though.

4K even better remote my only dislike is like the last generation model there is no optical connection. So if you have a older receiver you can’t use it.You need a TV with great sound or ARC connection and a receiver with 4K pass thru or ARC to get the best sound and video. For a bedroom with 4K and no surround this is great just by itself.

The apps work well, it streams 4k content flawlessly and is a reliable streamer. If you are streaming 4k content you should purchase the recommended Belkin HDMI cable as it will make a noticeable difference in streaming speeds. The only downside is the new remote, the touchpad gestures are gimmicky and not intuitive.

I currently have the AppleTv 3rd Gen. that has worked great, I have excellent 4K non HDR TV , After debating with myself for some time, even though I will not take advantage of HDR, I felt with the increased resolution, I would notice some benefits, with a little more backlighting and increased color, I have a great picture, what helped I got some nice Best Buy gift cards to help with the Apple high price, that is my only negative is the price., I also moved by 3rd Gen. to my bedroom, Future proof myself.

Easy to set up, love the remote, picture quality in 4k amazing, and Dolby atmos sounds great, I like having all my streaming apps all in 1 place. Feel it cost too much, but is a 1 time purchase, and for the quality and ease of use -I’ll bite the bullet and glad I did

Great option alternative to the Firestick or Roku as it allows for app download directly from Apple. Easy to setup, sync and control with remote or iPhone. Great picture quality and seamless playback.

I’m a big Apple fan, so the price is worth it to me. Speed is fast, quality is great, and the 4K pictures look amazing on my tv.

Exactly what I was expecting. Easy set up, stable operation, and a variety of options abound. The picture quality is excellent.

The Apple TV 4k is really easy to use and the amount of apps is amazing. The 4k has better picture quality than Apple TV.

I love this Apple TV 4K. I have access to all of my apps and the apps that are capable of 4K will stream in 4K, along with HDR and also the sound is in Doby Atmos if your other devices support it! Easy to use and easily integrates with your hdmi port equipped tv.

Finally 4K with HDR and Dolby Vision! We’ve all been waiting for an Apple TV 4K refresh and it’s perfect, almost. My only gripe with ALL versions of Apple TV has been the remote. I absolutely hate the trackpad. Having the trackpad as the only option to access certain features or settings within apps, like the drop down menu for Movies and Netflix, is more irritating than plugging in a USB cable into any USB port. Other than the remote I am extremely satisfied with this Apple TV.

This apple tv's 4k is awesome! It works very well on my TV. Easy setup and the free upgrades to 4k in itunes is great.

Good purchase. I had older Apple TV Version that had served us well, but it did not have the ability to add “additional” streaming accounts or channels that have become popular. I had thought about purchasing one of the streaming sticks that handled some of those items. However, after checking, I found the Apple TV would also give me access to the exclusive Apple TV+ programs, movies and special features. Yes, there is a small fee, but worth it because of the premium selections. However, the best part - current Apple promotion included one year of service free with this purchase. I call that a win/win. I did not order the larger 64 GB version because I do not download a lot of movies - thus this 32 GB version was all that was needed. BTW - this newer version also appears to screen mirror and air play better/easier than older generation. Good purchase!

Literally plug and play. On TV menus very easy to understand. Loaded my first app within minutes of opening the box.

The Apple TV makes streaming simple to manage and understand. Previously I had utilized the operating system on my smart TV’s, which didn’t always interface well with my TV provider. Now, everything is under one “roof” and it’s extrenely simple to move between content sources and find programming. The Apple TV optimized the settings on my TV,s and updated the operating system to provide a better experience. Love it and I haven’t even begun to stream to my mobile devices yet

Bought this as a gift. So easy to install and adding applications went very fast. So many options you won't need cable or satellite television anymore. Anyone who has Apple products should own one. The picture is so vivid and clear. Totally amazing.

I have a 4K TV and am already heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem so this was kind of a must have for me. I already had an earlier generation of the Apple TV and have always preferred it’s UI to other competitors (Roku, Chromestick). The price point is a bit high in my opinion but overall I’m satisfied wth the product. I did have to hard wire the Ethernet for this guy where it hadn’t been a problem with my previous Apple TV (4K content was struggling over Wi-Fi. )
