I have used Roku and Amazon Fire Stick but much prefer Apple TV. The interface, the processing power, and ease of set-up are excellent. The remote is a little slippery but I just bought a case and that problem was solved.

Apple TV 4K works great we bought it for my daughter and she loves it,it is easy to use and she has no problem seeing anything she wants.

The picture quality is outstanding. Compatibility amazing. You can use your cell phone personal got spot with it anywhere you want to take it.

We love our Apple TV. If you already are invested in iPhones, IPads, Macs, this is a perfect addition. The interface and usability is light years better than Roku or Smart TV apps. Of course at the premium Apple price point. Great for airplay and all streaming apps, one can also use their iPhone as a remote which is helpful for typing in logins and passwords. 4K is basically the standard now assuming you have a 4K tv and the higher tier Netflix subscription. Prime Video has 4K for no extra cost, as well as Hulu I believe. This will also take up one of your HDMI ports of course, but it can be your go to device for everything streaming.

I upgraded from the 2nd Generation Apple TV that came out in 2010. I have really enjoyed this purchase! Since I mostly stream TV shows, this was worth every penny. Definitely recommend it if you are more into streaming than cable TV. Pretty easy to set up too! I'd just warn you to name your device something unique so neighbors aren't constantly trying to connect to your apple TV. I named my Apple TV "Living Room" and my neighbors did the same. So many of my shows would be interrupted because of this. Otherwise, it's a great product and worth buying!

I've owned an Apple TV since the first generation. This 4k upgrade model isn't much different than the 1080 model in terms of design and functionality. HOWEVER, if you are diving into the world of 4k streaming it is an absolute must. It not only streams 4k from Apple and Netflix, it also seems to upgrade 1080 steaming to look better.

I just installed it today and so far I can't complain. It does exactly what I need... play my iTunes purchased movies and shows on my new 4K TV. Samsung removed a few chores this would normally be used for by integrating Netflix and Hulu into the TV OS, but once you are in the iTunes ecosystem and have invested money... you stay.

This is the best 4K streamer I have and I have them all. All of my movies I have in iTunes are now in 4K. The speed is great and you can see the difference in video quality. I own the 1080p Apple TV and it works great but the 4K is much better and the screen savers are incredibly stunning. If you own a 4K tv this is a must have.

We have 4 in house and 1 at work. 4K looks awesome. It integrates with all my iPhone and other Apple tvs so my photos and videos are always available and my all tvs are linked together. I Love the fact I have the same apps on all my tvs set up the same way across all the boxes. If you like simplicity then the Apple TV is for you.

This has a great picture and is very easy to use. It ties into my apple product and can see my pictures and videos. The remote is crack very easy with a little drop on table. Still works

It is a must if you have a 4K HDR TV. Perfect picture

This replaced an original version that was starting to go out. Much faster, easier to use and more options on this newer version with a better picture.

I bought this as an upgrade from the last gen Apple TV and it was worth it. I have a really nice 4K HDR TV with Dolby Vision and HDR10. The picture quality for any movie converted to HDR is generally good but non-HDR movies are okay. The only major issue with this product at this point is that the best quality audio is still Dolby Digital 5.1. I would still prefer Dolby Atmos or anything uncompressed as my sound system is way too good for this. Hopefully Apple will fix this with a software update. Otherwise, I would highly recommend if you're fully vested in the Apple ecosystem.

Is it stating the obvious to point out that if you don't have a 4K TV then there is no reason to get this? There may be some minor improvements over the last box (the remote for example), but otherwise this is really just about 4K presentation and delivery, so your TV is everything. Beyond that it works just fine and the interface is the same as before. The various 4K options related to HDR/SDR, Hrtz, etc. need some work in terms of being user friendly. This seems to be a regular theme in the reviews, and for good reason - be prepared to spend some time working out kinks.

I have had an Apple TV since the very first generation. While I have a smart TV I prefer the interface of Apple TV as well as app availability. I specifically upgraded to the new version to get 4K video as well as access to the Amazon Prime Video App so I could enjoy the movies there without utilizing another interface.

I bought the new Apple TV 4K, I had the second generation original Apple TV and it has been a much needed a truly great upgrade. It allows you to download apps and, with apps that support it, alls you to us the TV app where it puts all the shows and movies that you can watch with the apps you have downloaded. So everything is easily viewable and condensed in on place rather than looking through all your downloaded apps. Secondly, Siri has been a life saver with the Apple TV, but it does have its limitations. I owned a movie and was asking Siri to play the movie, and it kept taking me to buy the movie instead of actually playing the movie that I already one in one of the apps. Lastly, it may be a little thing but i think it makes a huge difference, the new remote when turning in the Apple TV it also turns on your tv, and when you sleep your Apple TV it sue a off the tv, it’s simple and easy and you don’t have to use two remotes because the new remote also has volume control. Overall it was a great upgrade and I recommend it, I will see have the 32GB works for me, I may regret not getting the 64GB

I have used Apple TV for several years and it made perfect sense that when I upgraded my TV to 4K that I should upgrade my Apple TV product to 4K. I have never had any problems and I’m an all Apple product household. If I decide to upgrade other TVs in my house, I would definitely purchase another AppleTV 4K version.

Easy to setup and use. Remote is a bit sensitive, still adapting.. Love that I can watch Netflix, Hulu, YouTube TV, and apple apps (my library) ect.. all in one place with good quality.
