I like the Apple TV. It’s easy to use, the new remote control is tricky at first but I think I have it now. I can do it.

We have been needing an apple tv upgrade for a few years now, and now that we finally bought one, we don't know why we waited! The quality is so much better and we like the bluetooth capability as well. When we cycle through the programs on Netflix, we enjoy the brief trailers for the shows and series. The remote control took some "getting used to" as I am not as tech savvy as I'd like to be. The remote has its own mouse pad and it's a bit sensitive--but very useful.

Apple TV is awesome!! Just make sure that you plug this 4K version directly into your 4K HDMI port or have a 4K selector switch, not just HDMI or it may not work properly. My experience anyway. I am sure that is in the specs or fine print that I didn’t read somewhere, so no stars removed. It really is my favorite streaming device!! Can play all Apple purchased content, streaming apps and provider login apps on one device with a great interface. Remote isn’t my favorite, but phone app use with remote makes up for that.

What else could I add to what's already been said? Fast box, great picture, nice interface, excellent app choices. While Roku still has more available services this blows it away in terms of load speed and smooth operation. One caveat: Sling is still better on Roku.

The new iOS features are hands down awesome. The list of “pick up where you left off” is a nice touch because it’s a list and not just the last thing you saw. Responsive and fast but definitely issues with the iOS running. Remote is super fancy but the touchbar is so sensitive so you can’t keep the remote in your hand. If you graze it, it might back you out to the home screen completely. Really happy about the added mic. Makes entering passwords and emails so fast. Great product!

I have a 4K LG Smart TV but the interface for the AppleTV is so much smoother and the voice controls make navigation a breeze. It's ability to connect my home is amazing. The AppleTV is able to control my Philips hue smart lights which is a huge plus. It also Airplays seamlessly to my Sonos 1 speakers. I originally bought a 4K DVD player but it was really expensive and the DVDs were also really expensive, meanwhile apple upgraded the movies I already owned in iTunes to 4K and digital videos were more affordable in the long run. I honestly couldn't recommend this enough.

While the Apple TV 4K is a bit pricey compared to other alternatives, and it is getting a bit long in the tooth it's still a fantastic streaming device. The interface is unmatched by other streaming devices, and the Apple TV App Store is unparalleled - especially with support for not just streaming apps, but games and utilities. The biggest downside of the Apple TV is its remote - the Siri Remote. While I personally like the remote, many people do not, and I completely understand one. The biggest downside is that it is completely symmetrical, making it difficult to determine what side is up and what side is down without looking at the remote. In addition, the touchpad can be quite sensitive and can take a bit of getting used to. However, if you take the time to use the remote and get used to its quirks, it's actually quite powerful.

This is an excellent product, the 4K output to my TV looks great. Like the rest of Apple's product line, it just works, simple to setup and connect to my iTunes account, easy to use, the touch sensitive part of the remote is accurate, very happy with this product!

Even though it's pricier than other streaming boxes, I can't help but enjoy the ease of use and the interface of the Apple TV ... In 4K no less!

Apple TV has always been the cleanest, easiest to use streaming device. The one thing it was missing was 4K capabilities and now it's here. Of course, if you don't have a 4K tv, you should probably get the 4th gen model. Super fast, user friendly, Siri integrated!!!

This unit works flawlessly (with proper internet connection), has a sleek remote, easy to operate with just a little practice.

Flawless like all Apple products. Although it is more expensive than a fire stick, Roku and other streams devices it is absolutely worth it. It took less than a minute to unpack and hook up. It is super intuitive and much faster loading and browsing. Adding apps is simple, The controller is cool but even better to use your iPhone. Makes typing etc much easier. I had an older Apple TV and this one is so much better!

I have been using the 4K 32GB for more than a year and it was the best streamer I have used up into about 2 weeks ago (I just bought the New 4K TV 64GB). It is one of the only streamers that Dolby Vision and Atoms will work on for the Apple TV, Netflix, and Amazon apps. It is fast and reliable and I have only had to re-start a few times. The sound and image it will produce is grate, but I will say that the new 4K TV has better sound and images.

Not entirely sure why I waited this long to get an Apple TV. I’ve been on the Apple eco system for some time now. Phone, Mac, iPad. What I love is that it’s the great and familiar OS you’re used to, adapted to the TV. I’m not going to be playing any games or stuff like that. So far it works excellent for streaming, air play, home automation. I’ve also got Lutron summers throughout the house and it’s really convenient speaking into the remote to dim or turn off lights. The only caveat is that there’s no amazon prime video yet. You can work around by mirroring your iPhone/computer. But would love to see a native app. Oh yeah, make sure that your tv and hdmi cables can support the HDR and 4K signal. I had an old HDMI cable maybe from like 4 years ago and it wouldn’t support the signal. By all means don’t go out and buy a 4K hdmi cable. Any new one will suffice.

We own five Apple TV's, and now have added the Apple TV 4K to our list. I've had a 4K flat screen in my living room for a year and now I'm finally getting to enjoy true 4K movies. We love the ability to add apps to the system and really love the Siri remote.

To use a phrase i don't like, we "cut the cord" and couldn't be happier with our 4k Apple TV. The 4k content is still minimal (you'll only get 4k with Amazon Prime Video and Youtube) but the picture for everything else is excellent. We use the Playstation Vue for TV and the picture is way better than what we had with regular satellite tv (Directv). Downloading apps is simple and the universal log in for tv provider makes logging into apps a snap. Highly recommend!

I wanted to be able to mirror my phone. That was my original reason for buying an Apple TV. At first I had to kind of learn how to use it. But I really like the way my phone was able to help me set up everything. I also like the Bluetooth capability for external sound. Also I recently found out I don’t need a cable box from spectrum with Apple TV. I find new things Apple TV does every day. The size and simple setup is a bonus as well. The picture on my tv significantly improved!

Great picture, and I like the fact I can access my iTunes movies to watch on my TV. Very easy to set up and use.

I just bought this and cannot say enough good things about it. I have a 4K smart TV but have always preferred using the Apple TV. The ease of use and setup is great. I have tried all generations of this product and this one is the best by far. My favorite feature is that once you sign into your TV provider it will automatically connect to that each time you add a new app. In the past you would have to go through the activation process for each one which became a headache. Great buy and price is very reasonable.

For the past two years I was stuck in a contract with a satellite company. Apple TV is amazing and cheap! I dropped the satellite and I’m saving over $100 a month not paying for satellite. I currently have Netflix, Hulu, and HBO. Most basic channels like ABC, NBC, etc. apps are free and you can stream those channels for free. I do recommend hardwiring your internet connection to your tv and Apple TV to prevent any lag in video buffering.
