Very easy to set up and works with cable company. I unfortunately purchased a roku box to do this task at the end of last year to only find out they cut ties with the cable company. I moved the roku to another location In my house for kids to still watch movies. The Apple remote feels light weight so I am cautious with that and can use my phone just as easy. Other then that I am liking it so far.

As someone who has purchased a lot of music and movies on iTunes, this is the perfect device for streaming my purchases to my home entertainment system. Easy setup and the ability to steam 4k content makes this an easy buy.

I love the way the new AppleTV ties all my homekit devices together. Snappy, responsive, and great with all apps I've tried. The remote is pretty well designed, but a little frustrating when trying to rewind or fast forward.

Great device. Usually end up using the Apple TV remote app on my iPhone phone as the touch remote seems a little flaky. Great price as I purchased as an open box, previous person didn’t realize it wouldn’t work with his TV.

Apple TV is a great tv streaming device especially for Apple device owners.

I have sued AppleTV since they came out. Overall it’s a great device for those who have many different streaming services. Incredible how easy it is to set up. Access to all your favorite apps, streaming services and movies. The one main complaint is the remote control. Super small and skinny, always ends up missing. Life expectancy for the device, I would say is about 2-3 years.

I purchased a 4K UHD TV earlier in the year, and while it handled 1080p very well, there was something missing. The Apple TV 4K was the missing link. Great looking content, and even the screensavers look amazing on my TV.

I bought this Apple TV for my in-law who came to visit. Her only access to catch up with her shows was throughly my living room Apple TV using her cable username and password. She loved the functionality, ease and next order of episodes so much that I just bought for her. She’s extremely happy with it, and enjoys the intuitive navigation of the interface.

Set up was easy, basically automatic. Love the Amazon Prime app, I can now watch Amazon movies without buffering / freezing like always happened with the Amazin products. Noticeable resolution improvement on my new 4k TV.

You have stepped your game up again! We have had Apple TV for 6 years now, the older versions still work great, this new Apple TV is so much better and faster. Easy to use, love the new options on the remote with the touch and drag with the volume buttons. Worth every penny, threw that crappy fire stick away, stupid thing hardly ever worked right anyway! Apple TV has replaced all the cable boxes and my family has cut the cord to high cost cable.

I bought this for a conference room so we could do screen mirroring from iPads and Apple laptops. It works great. The remote uses the same charger lightning cord and we basically now have a “smart board” for a fraction of the cost. We looked at smart boards for $5K to $6K but a $600 55” TV and the Apple TV do the trick. Is is high definition and the picture is fantastic. Plus we can stream TV and Movies. I have now gotten a second one for another conference room!

This little has taken the front seat in my home theater system. As someone well into the apple ecosystem, this device fits seamlessly into my existing system. I have access to all my music and movies (even those I’ve purchased on other services). I also have access to all the streaming services I use (Netflix, HBO GO, Pandora, VUDU, HULU, CuriosityStream, etc) all on one device that’s capable of 4k HDR. After getting the Apple TV 4K, we do 95% of our home entertainment from this one device! No more swapping from one place to another to switch services, or using our phone to stream music. It all happens from the apple tv. As an added bonus, the Apple TV 4K can be used as a HomeKit Hub, making it also the center for lighting automations and other solutions as we expand our “smart home” switches, lights, sensors, ect. All in all, if you are already in the apple ecosystem, especially with your music and movie collections, this is the streaming device to get. Like all apple products, the apple tv communicates seamlessly with all your other devices, iPhone, iPad, Macbook, Airpods, Watch, etc. Non-apple folks might want to look elsewhere, as this device is more expensive than the other 4k streaming boxes and you wouldn’t be able to take full advantage of AppleTV 4K’s capabilities. We love the Apple TV 4K!

Got this to replace my Apple TV HD when I purchased my Sony X900H 4k TV. 4k HDR quality is outstanding, same great interface. I found some YouTube videos with video and audio setting recommendations that made a huge difference in picture quality (set to 4k SDR and match dynamic range and frame rate - rather than force everything to HDR). Still some quirks in the audio department. I didn't expect much, but when set it to Atmos I get nothing to my pre-Atmos preamp (same set up for my Blu-ray player decodes as Dolby TrueHD). So I'm using PCM 5.1, which in most cases sounds great, but is also app-dependent (Hulu is usually PCM 2.0). It's just what I expected and beats the socks off any TV or Blu-ray player posing as a streaming device.

I upgraded from my 4th generation Apple TV to the Apple TV 4K, and it is a worthy upgrade. The 4K resolution and HDR look amazing on my 4K OLED and the TV is a lot faster and more responsive than the previous generation.

It has real 4K DHR and dolby vision easy to use and great sound with dolby atmos if you have home theather!!!!!

This is Awesome set top box. Amazing integration with all of my Apple products. The HDR / 4k looks great on a movie rental with streaming. If you are a Apple fan this is a fantastic upgrade over the previous Apple TVs.

I have bought two of these ! I love them so much, and they are sleek. They satisfy my craving for evolving technology and I have an Apple ecosystem. It’s very easy to navigate and I do see how it really changes the picture quality ! It upscales the image to Dolby Vision if possible , and even HD content looks better on my TVs! It’s fun having everything sync too! I’m kind of spoiled with Apple TV! Lol

I own the model two generations before this one. It was not 4k and had the old remote. I really like the new remote and have gotten used to using it. I also find myself using Siri to search for movies and other things. I do not have Apple Music, so asking Siri to play songs is useless unless it is from my own library of songs. I have not had an issue with streaming 4K movies. However, I still believe the best picture quality comes from the 4K Bluray discs themselves. I was a little disappointed that it does not include UHD Vudu, but iTunes provides plenty 4K content. There are lots of games and other apps to download, but I have not explored this much. I plan to also use this unit as the wifi hub for a new kwikset smart lock. The interface is snappy and you never have to wait for anything to load. Graphics are great, so I can't complain in any of those areas. Apple products are just expensive.
