Works great. If you have plenty of Apple products like I do; such as IPhones. It makes casting on the tv an ease. I got the Apple TV primarily to watch AMC + on my television because it doesn’t have the smart cast capability and it does not stream on a chromecast. The remote I found was difficult to use but it is operational.

Finally pulled the trigger on this device to access my iTunes movie library. Some good 4k upgrades available at low prices, but they aren't shared across Movies Anywhere accounts. Nice to be able to finally access the iTunes extras as well. Apple TV+ actually has some good original content available, may actually continue the subscription after the trial period. Setup was reasonably simple, but the remote control tripped me up for a bit and started to frustrate me because it is difficult to see that the touchpad section of the remote is also a button. Once I figured that out, smooth sailing.

This 4K model replaces my 4th generation Apple TV, which I am using on an older TV. When I bought my new TV, I was able to stream programming directly. When I had some credits I had to use, I decided to buy another Apple TV. This makes a huge improvement in the picture. Definitely the best quality streaming I have ever seen. My only minor complaint is no mute button on the remote.

If you have a 4K tv and are an iTunes user this is a must own. I love how easy it is to watch my iTunes digital copies and rent movies. The 4K content quality is flawless. Non 4K content looks great too.

I'm not an Apple fanboy, but this is an excellent streaming device for 4K/HDR movies that are not available on Vudu. It does Dolby Vision and produces excellent picture quality. I would highly recommend.

I’m sure there are several features to boast about but the main thing is the obvious 4K. Definitely notice a change with HD TV, especially when compared to Comcast. With the 4K TV the upgrade is perfect.

We switched from cable to app based internet tv I love all my other Apple products so it was a no brainer to buy Apple TV. I don’t think it’s Apples’ fault that internet tv is marginal at best. It’s Full of issues and glitches and restarts. So don’t expect cable tv ease of use and reliability out of it. But again, I don’t think that’s Apples’ fault. My complaint is more with the remote. It’s tiny. It’s slippery and It’s touch based too so you are constantly screwing things up just by picking it up. It also slides down every crack in your furniture so It needs to be strapped to a 2x4 so that it doesn’t get lost. It’s also perfectly rectangular so you can’t easily tell without looking which direction you’re holding it. Which makes just grabbing the remote to click something even more of a pain. The Apple box itself works as I expected. Easy to navigate and set things just like other Apple products. It will also interact with your other Apple products. So 3 stars is for remote issues and internet tv in general which just isn’t quite ready for prime time just yet.

Like all Apple devices, pretty easy, very friendly. It's the third one I already have, I not only use it for TV, but also to work and make Keynote presentations from my iPad and switch to my computer.

The look, sound, and usability of this Apple TV 4K is perfect for us. We had an older Apple TV that was still working fine.. so I was a little hesitant to upgrade but I am so glad I did. It's so much easier to navigate everything through this, and I love the multiple window feature. I also love how seamlessly it integrates with phones/ipads/etc. It's lightening quick compared to the old one.

I’ve had an iPhone for quite some time but I’m not sure what took me so long to pull the plug and get an Apple TV! Once I did - my eyes were opened! Much better quality, many more options and it never disconnects/buffers like the Fire Stick once you’re close to the number of gigabytes on the device! I don’t feel like I’ll EVER reach the gigabyte capacity in my Apple TV!

This is my third Apple TV, I replaced the cable boxes with them, the navigation is easy and I love the convenience of having a lot of options in one place, not to mention the picture quality is really good, I do wish Apple would work on the remote design, divide the pad and button sections in a way that is easier to tell which one in which when dark, just saying.

I bought this for my living room since I'm getting ready to cut the cord (lol), the streaming quality is really good, sound is better if is connected to a home theater unit, I still haven't try this with 4K videos and I hope this will no disappoint. So far this apple tv is all i need to cut the cord, just a little advice, the touch area on the remote is a little sensitive but the microphone function is amazing.

I upgraded to the new Apple TV because the old Apple TV was not able to access the sound on CBS All Access. I got a picture but no sound. Now I have a picture and sound. I like the addition of Siri. It makes it much easier to access the programs I like to watch. I would recommend it to anybody who watches Netflix and all the other stations that are available on apple TV.

Being able to use my iPad keyboard in any search field makes looking for things fun for me. Of course you could just use Siri but I like seeing the dynamic searches change as I type. I am using this along with a Sony 4K TV, and WOW! If you are an Apple user, you know that there are no such things as directions. LOL. It’s because you don’t need them. Hook it up, plug it in, and you are literally done! The remote turns everything on and also controls audio volume. It took a minute to go into settings and look through all the options. Once I set everything the way I wanted, I couldn’t believe the difference the HDR made! Last cool thing is that my TV remote also works to scroll and select items.

The user interface and video quality is awesome. It is a bit pricey...but I liked it enough to but another one.

The 4K is East to use, great quality, simple to install, and full of useable features.

AppleTV offers everything you could want in a media box. Movie purchase and rental. Every video and music streaming app under the sun. Video games with (coming this fall) support for PS4 and Xbox controllers. Photos viewing. Gorgeous screen savers that highlight your 4K TV. And it's a breeze to set up and integrated perfectly with our AV receiver and Sony TV. If you have a 4K TV and own Apple products, this is a must have.

I will miss the Android features of installing on FireTV, but the performance of the ATV4K is amazing. I have 300mbps Internet and was experiencing buffering over 2.4 ghz wireless connection This thing flies at 5 ghz speeds. The picture quality is very noticeable. Siri has been effective by finding content. I do not regret this purchase. I use the ATV4K for all my viewing entertainment for the household.

Best remote on the market, beautiful minimalist interface in classic Apple fashion, wonderful connectivity between Apple products. Highly recommended especially if you already own Apple products.

I originally purchased this because I had converted to Movies Now and had a number of movies converted to 4K on iTunes. I am very happy with the other apps and games. Replaces my Roku and Smart TV
