I had an Amazon Fire box, and when I recently purchased a new iPhone got Apple TV for 1 year for free. I wanted to upgrade to 4K anyway since the longer plan is to get a 4K TV. This thing was a snap to set up and I live the fact that I can access my very large music library that lives on my Mac computer! My only gripe is the touch controls. I actually preferred the click wheel on the Fire TV controller.

I finally decided leave cable tv behind and after doing extensive research I selected the Apple TV component. This wonderful technology has proven easy to use and fulfills my needs beautifully!!!

Very easy to set up and is simple to work, the quality of it is good and haven’t had any problems !

Though it is very pricey compared to its rivals, it has it own benefits. For Apple fans, it’s a master class. The first and foremost thing I loved is the way it connects to external speakers. It’s a breeze while other rivals take long time using all those codes. Next the UI is awesome. Then you will have many apps for passing time. Travel channel, food, discover , ted and so many of them which will have free episodes and it is one place to watch them all.

So much could be said but I’ll keep it simple. Video quality - ITunes streams are top notch. They stream at higher than almost every provider only to be beat by Movies Anywhwere which is also an app that can be downloaded and used. The user interface is fast, fluid and makes much more sense than anything else out there. It’s simple and to the point.

I’m happy that I can now incorporate Apple TV into my 4K TV. It’s a shame that I still can’t get the Amazon Prime TV app to use directly instead of having to mirror it from my iphone, but this is certainly an improvement over the standard Apple TV I use for my bedroom TV. Can’t say much else yet so we’ll see if it was worth purchasing soon or if it will be returned.

This is the first device that makes me think about cord cutting. Got it because Apple auto upgrades HDX to 4k movies. But with the Apple TV app, it unifies all my apps to find the shows I want.

I had a ROKU 4K in my system for quite some time now and Apple 4K is just simply stunning in terms of picture quality, sound immersion, flexibility and functionality compared to my ROKU. With Apple 4K you could adjust chroma, choose HDR, calibrate your TV and much more. Now I can see and hear things from my LG OLED (with Dolby Vision, HDR tech and Dolby Atmos) that was not possible with ROKU. I'm glad I switched to APPLe 4K!

To start with, if you have a library of movies you’ve purchased from iTunes before 4k, Apple upgrades your movies to their 4k HDR version for free if that movies is available in that format. Furthermore, if the movie isn’t out in that format but later becomes available, you get that upgraded as well. That’s a huge win in itself. The cost to rent or buy a 4k movie is the same price as it’s regular HD version. Meanwhile, others like Google are charging more for the 4k HDR versions of the movie. Aside from this, the menu and functions are the same the others before. It will check your connection to make sure your HDMI cables are a minimum of HDMI 2.0 or higher. They did it justice.

Great picture and sound, remote is touchy, .Apple TV sets up with ease.

I expect High quality from Apple which is why I bought this instead of the many cheaper alternatives. Only time will tell if it is worth the extra money over the competition but so far so good.

Great quality with the 4k version of the Apple TV. I didn't think that I would be able to see a difference but you definitely can! The picture looks the clearest that is has ever looked before.

After getting the apple 4k tv it forced me to buy 4K tv and a good quality sound bar. After all the setup getting a feel of mini theatre when I’m watching a movie. 4K quality is exceptional!

I love the new 4k Apple TV. It is very easy to use and with the voice commands is MUCH easier to navigate than the older version of Apple TV

Works perfectly. Love my Apple TV. It makes things seamless between the TV and the actual Apple TV itself - meaning, I only need to use one remote. I highly suggest. If I were you, I would try to find an open box or refurb of this product. I don't know what I'd do with the extra storage either - never had an issue needing anymore than what I purchased.

Great user interface. Love the feature that displays front and center all shows and movies I've been watching across all stream services. That is so useful! Great responsiveness. Don't love the controller but I can easily use my iPhone, which is an awesome option. Using it for keyboard input makes searches so much faster.

Excellent Product, very Pleased with this purchase. Provides excellent Pictur on my 4K TV. Plenty of 4K Content Available. The remote is very functional and user friendly, great Purchase

Very easy to use out of the box. Quickly got Netflix and Amazon Prime running on the device. Good picture and sound. Only issue (not really with the device, but with Amazon Prime) is that you can't order movies directly from the app and it is unclear how to do so. In looking at the web, you can order AP movies from your computer and view them on Apple TV, but it is a little inconvenient.

Apple does 4K the best! The box renders everything in 4K and if you have a digital movie collection, iTunes gives you access to the 4K version at no additional cost! This thing is awesome!

Takes all of my video subscriptions into one source! Awesome addition to my home theater. Best part of it all is that apple took all of my previous HD movies and converted it to 4K for free!
