We had multiple Roku devices but once I used this Apple device I was hooked and bought another Apple TV a week later. Easy setup, great interface, the 4K is top notch - all around fantastic. If you use Apple devices this is really a no brainer - the inter connectivity with the rest of the Apple ecosystem (iPhone/iPad, Mac, HomePod) is awesome. Highly recommend!

Everything about this device is pleasant. It’s a super clean, snappy interface with support for all the major streaming services. Works great with my Logitech Harmony remote, so it’s grown into our nightly entertainment completely seamlessly. The price is certainly higher than the competition, but I do genuinely believe you get an awesome, top tier device for the money.

If you want to automate your home and you own Apple devices - this Apple TV is the perfect lil hub for your homekit compatible devices. Love it - all in one uses for movies to automation.

Owned this product for about a month now. Installation and set up are seamless with apple account. It just integrates everything in your apple account to be managed on the TV. I am using it with fuboTV and other subscriptions. It is perfect for my TV/media needs. No more contract cable tv needed. With just a +60Mbps internet service account you can watch 4k TV and movies and content from any network.

Its the same as the last gen apple tv except in 4k, and that's not a bad thing. The apple tv is one of the best home set top boxes and 4k is exactly what it needed to take it to the top

If you do a lot of TV streaming, this’ the device for you. The user interface is excellent, it’s easy to navigate. It integrates all your shows and movies in a central location so you don’t have to navigate to each app to watch your show or movie. Comes with a remote, a bit fancy, but I didn’t enjoy using it. I find the remote control app much easier and friendly. Got it with a 30 day Sling TV subscription which was useless.

The setup was easy. Glad that it now supports Amazon via an app download. I like the remote - it feels better to hold and navigate compared to the previous style. Siri is a nice bonus.

4k truly an image enhancer on larger tvs I do not know how they will get the promised dolby Atmos to older tvs even if your sound bar can play it without a dedicated hdmi out for sound

This is the best streaming device I’ve used. The 4K hdr and Dolby Vision display are stunning and I also enjoy the Apple TV 4K a lot because I’m well settled into the Apple ecosystem.

This Apple TV is outstanding. It is very fast and you won't be disappointed. The remote is a little difficult for me to use so beware. I recommend you go to the Apple Store inside Best Buy and practice using it before you buy. Of course no one comes close to the Apple eco-system. Like I said, if you can master the remote then this is the device to get.

Easy to install. Performance excellent. Remote a little hard to use.

I live in the country and my streaming is iffy at times. Netflix seems to have this figured out better than apple. Great 4k picture and hoping for addition of Dolby Atmos in future.

I bought this to replace an Apple TV that is nearly 10 years old. It still works fine, if slowly, but it has been passed-by by the march of video and audio standards. It is much faster than the old one and has not had any issues so far. I like it and have been catching up on shows I've gotten behind on. I recommend this, but like all Apple products, you pay a premium for it.

Apple TV 4K was a no-brainer for me since it supports Dolby Vision, Atmos, and HDR. Not only that, Apple automatically upgrades you to the 4K version of previously purchased movies.

Great picture my only con is the remote is a jenky but not bad

The Apple TV 4k really knows how to take full advantage of 4k tv's, especially with its latest update that auto switches to the best quality version of what ever content you watch.

4k is awesome and new set up procedure is super easy. Buy it.

Like that existing iTunes movie purchases are automatically upgraded to 4K HD format if they exist. Nice functionality with new remote interface. Not a lot of games available yet.
