Another solid product from Apple - the ease and simplicity of setup coupled with quality 4K content from AppleTV+ makes this a no brainer for anyone looking to make their TV smart or replace/upgrade a native smart TV's media controller - all at a reasonable price.

I recently purchased a brand new Samsung 4k tv with one thing in mind witch was to add the apple tv 4k. I have a big movie collection from iTunes and have previously owned the 4th generation apple tv witch was the 1080p version and worked very well for that resolution but it was time to take full advantage of my tv's capability. Setup was a piece of cake if you have an iPhone just hold your phone up to the box and all your settings are transported over. And when you turn on the box the home screen just pops with the HDR in full affect Logan and Days of Future past look amazing and keep in mind If you plan on playing a lot of games you might want to go for the 64gig model. And one last detail to consider is make sure you have a fast and steady internet connection because steaming 4k is not going to work without it if you don't have high speed the 1080p might be a better fit for your needs. So if you have a 4k tv and are a iTunes customer with a library and have an older apple tv than you should defiantly consider upgrading to apple tv 4k.

Quality is amazing, and Apple’s software is just butter smooth. Definitely a buy if you’re invested in the Apple ecosystem.

Been waiting for this for a long time. The user interface is pretty slick and futuristic looking, and is pretty easy to use. The touchpad for directional control is easier to use than the old click wheel on the 3rd gen ATV. I like the unified TV app. Good selection of content, now with Amazon Prime video too, can't go wrong.

Now that the new Apple TV has released, this may be the Best Buy for Apple users. The UI is Apple-esque, clean, fast and easy to use. Airplay works very well too. 4K works and looks great. I still do not like the tiny remote, which is lost somewhere under the bed. Unfortunately, I bought this days before the updated version was announced, so paid a premium for “old” tech. Now that the price has dropped a bit, this is a great buy.

Great purchase if you have a lot of apple products. They all work together so smoothly. If not, there are cheaper options.

I purchased it because I use an iPhone for casting and also wanted to view HBOMax through my entertainment system (I already have a subscription to HBO, so the streaming service was free). I was able to hook it up to my audio receiver HDMI input and quickly settle in with streaming. HBOMax came through easily and in 4K. Simple to use the remote, and the only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that it's the most expensive casting/streaming device in the market.

My iTunes library has never looked better. Love that my previous purchases were upgraded to 4k for free. Siri works great.

Finally Apple has released the Apple TV 4K with HDR and it supports all flavours of HDR- including Dolby Vision! I love the remote and ease of use and the fact that you can change frame rates and the overall image quality to match and suite you 4K UHDTV! I only wish that Apple would have released sooner rather then later!

Great interface, and does the job. Even though smart TV's have all the apps which means less of a need for these, the interface is much smoother and faster than any TV apps I have found.

Beautiful and smooth appearance when navigating through apps. Easy to set up. Only issue encountered was that the screen would sometimes flicker after setting up the Apple TV. The workaround was going into Apple TV settings and changing the display resolution to a higher one which eliminated the problem.

With this AppleTv you can definitely tell a difference in picture quality over previous models. I would highly recommend

I’ve previously owned both a Fire stick and a Fire TV, both of which I loved, but the interface was slow and clunky. I’ve been using my Xbox, PS4, or TV to stream everything, but decided I wanted to upgrade to the Tv since I own primarily Apple products. So glad I switched because I love the mirroring feature, makes it so much easier to use my MacBook and iPhone with the TV for pictures or videos. Plus the interface is very user friendly and easy to navigate. The only thing I don’t like is the remote, a little too small. I mainly just use the remote app on my phone.

I have 4 Apple TV’s. This latest version with the 4K does not disappoint. They always manage to knock it out of the park

Can’t believe how much better everything looks with the Apple TV. Netflix looks twice as good as it did with the tv app

As usual, Apple TV 4K is effortless to setup and functions intuitively. I love that it’s so small and simple looking too. Full disclosure- this is my 3rd Apple TV. For my purposes, it’s perfect. Streaming, music and my kid loves the apps. It’s not a gaming system but it’s enough for a 6 year old who loves Minecraft.

Picture, sound transmission from iPhone or wifi all great and easy set up by using your iphone next to the device to sync. The unit turns itself on and then my Samsung tv will turn itself off every 15 minutes. Evidently based on google searches the Apple TV detects devices and turns on; which is fine except then the tv starts turning off. I have to turn all devices off then back on. Very annoying. Otherwise a good product. The older gen Apple TV did not cause this problem.
