So from the start I will say this, if you are invested in the Apple "Ecosystem" then you definitely will want to consider the Apple TV. The big difference this new model is strictly support for 4K content and now Dolby Atmos sound. This Apple TV is just like the last general and has tons of great features. The ever growing app store is the same one you know and love that lives on your iPhone/iPad. Developers are constantly adding more and more of their apps to the Apple TV and all the major TV networks, that I am aware of, support apps for the Apple TV. This makes the Apple TV a one stop shop for all your entertainment in your home theater setup. But by having other Apple Devices it makes them all work in harmony like controlling it with Siri and easily being able to stream content off your device straight to the Apple TV. If your looking for a one stop shop to view your favorite shows and movies I recommend picking up an Apple TV, even if your not in the Apple Ecosystem it is still a great media box.

Attached to my older tv works much faster and clearer than my Mac mini connected to the same tv. Syncs with my Mac mini to pull in photos for the screen saver and can watch youtube tv to cut the cable cord. Now I just need to invest in a 4K tv...

Had a Roku. Worked well. However, wife has Apple Phone. Wanted an easy link to the TV. Apple TV was the answer. Easy set up. Easy to use. Takes some getting used to the swiping of the remote to go up/down, left/right on the screen. Highly recommend this to those who do not yet have a smart TV.

Amazing! Best casting device on the market - easy to use, looks clean and sleek on the tv stand, and plays in high quality! The 4K option is great as well now that most streaming services and TVs support that now.

The 4K Apple TV Is a fantastic product. The downloadable apps make this a much cleaner and more smooth running device compared to their previous models, which stay cluttered and dis organized. The picture also looks great on my 4K Visio tv! I couldn’t ask for a better, more user friendly product.

We love all our Apple TV’s. If you have the change to spare I’d select this over all others. 4K is great when it’s available but the picture quality is wonderful for all HD. As good as your TV is capable of. Add in games and it’s a sweet package.

A world above the Gen3 Apple TV. Love the new tvOS! Really interesting product for someone who'd like to use it with their other Apple devices, use it for viewing content (shows, TV, etc) and also use it for gaming. Loved how in order to play one of the games we downloaded, we could use an iPhone as a controller to make it multiplayer. If you're an iOS user, be sure to look for the free Remote app to add another way to interact with the Apple TV.

Appletv is the best streaming device hands down. I wouldn’t recommend nothing less. Easy to use and setup and loaded with apps to download and the speed of scrolling thru apps with the controller is fast!

At a sale price of $129, great value in providing 4K streaming capabilities across all desired Apps. Remote takes a little time to get used to, but really like navigating the UI (compared to Roku).

Apple TV made our nice TV resolution clearer and removed wait times, as the "smart" tv needed about 5 minutes to connect to internet. The process of using the device was pretty intuitive for our family and we loaded our favorite apps and starting enjoying in less than an hour. Learned early on that Apple TV airplay settings needed to be turned off in order to eliminate other apple products from interfering with the follow of entertainment. Even my laptop started connecting to the device. Luckily, we were able to figure this out in less than 30min. Once the settings were adjusted, no more problems :)

The picture quality is amazing! It’s even clearer then then the apps that are built in to the TV. Awesome!

Bought it mainly to use for screen sharing from my other iOS devices, but ended up using it to replace my cable boxes. It does what it’s supposed to, extremely easy to set up and use right away. Have had an occasional problem with the UI being extremely buggy, and the overly sensitive remote and remote app for iphone are probably my least favorite thing about it. I don’t need touchpads on everything, just give me buttons.

Awesome for Apple users. Works seamlessly with past purchases and quality is great. I use it with my Samsung 75in Q90r. The interface is continually improving and ease of use is excellent. Also The voice recognition is way better than the previous model

This Apple TV was the perfect match to my 4K television. Sports is the majority of what I watch if I have time and this lets me watch what I missed, what’s on now. Tv shows, stream from my iPhone, iPad. Time to cut cable. Perfect.

I’m very satisfied with the Apple TV 4K! I upgraded from the previous generation because I got a new 4K tv. It’s much faster than the previous version and the picture quality is great! Just wish it wasn’t so expensive (especially compared to its cheaper rivals).

I had been using an earlier generation of Apple TV for last five and half years. I finally decided to do this upgrade. I am very glad that I did! I watched a couple of YouTube videos on the hook- up procedures. It’s pretty simple and using your phone for passwords needed made for a streamlined stress free task. Once all has been completed w settings, etc.. the fun and beauty comes alive on your 4K television. Now the remote can be a problem. It is very touchy, kind of slippery in your hand and small learning curve needed to be efficient using it. I bought a case on Amazon and that made using the remote much easier. All in all, very happy with my purchase. Fun to use, looks nice. Kind of refreshed my opinion of my Sony 4K television and all of the streaming services I use.

if you are upgrading from Apple TV HD this will be super easy. The cloud will register your device and download your apps and home screen for you. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy your 4k content! can be paired with old remote or new.

Much better than previous generations. This thing is head and shoulders above the competitors. Love it.

We have had an original Apple TV for 8-9 years now, and while nothing was wrong with our old one, we decided to upgrade simply for the added technology perks of the newest version of the AppleTV. Easy to set up. Love the quality. Highly recommended!

The newest Apple TV 4K has a great picture. The remote is a little different and take some getting use to the navigation of it and the Apple TV 4K menus. Would be nice if you could more easily turn the product on and off without having to navigate the menu.
