Cable box replacement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This isn't the cheapest but it is the most powerful and feature packed. This has become a cable box replacement. No more monthly hardware fees! It does everything it is supposed to do. The picture is great! The audio sounds great! (not sure about atoms). The complaints that I read seem to be users not being sure how to do something and saying that the Apple TV can't do it. I don't use it for games so I'm not sure how good the gaming is but for movies and tv its great.

Wow!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally upgraded from my 1st gen Apple TV. I recently purchased a 4K Television and needed a new Apple TV to match the new quality of my screen. The Apple TV is incredibly easy to use, it looks stunning, and syncs across all my devices through the Apple TV App. I received 1 year of Apple TV+ for free and the collection of Apple Original shows is amazing! I will say, definitely skip the 64gb version unless you have a large family who loves to play games. Most apps are small and barely take up space.

Completes the Apple Ecosystem
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you own Apple products then this will just make everything connect together with ease. I've been using the Samsung TV stream for HULU and Netflix for years but the quality and updates had stopped coming. After switching to the Apple TV I could never go back because I could take this system with me everywhere and apple will always update the apples itself so i dont need to do that ever again. ***dont forget to charge that remote once in a while; if you experience some touch pad lag.

Overall Great Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this product. I’ve had it for about a month now. Purchased it with my new 4K tv. Great product for watching 4K movies and even tv shows. Also an awesome product for all the various apps it offers. HBO Now, Amazon Prime, Netflix, YouTube TV....etc. I just discontinued my cable box because of this device. You will benefit the most if you already have apple products. For example, you can use your iPhone as a remote anywhere in the house as long as you are on the same WiFi network. It can also keep track of all your iTunes and app purchases from any other device. I would recommend this as a complimentary product with a new TV purchase. Or just to get one in general.

The Apple TV 4K Is An Awesome Evolution
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Use Apple TVs at home in a multiroom video and environmental sound system. They work wonderfully and give me lots of programming flexibility. Started using them in the office two years ago both for content distribution and for digital signage applications. I had just purchased 3 of the previous models for the office, then had to get four more. Just so happened that these four were the new 4K models. Wow is all I can say. One feature that I had not noticed previously is the ability to standardize your application home screen across multiple devises. Set up one then all the rest have exactly the same app set up. MOST IMPRESSIVELY is Apple's automatic conversion of all your HD content to 4K as the 4K versions become available. Stunning 4K streaming. I have a 600 movie and 2,000 TV episode library, much of the content is already in 4K. It is awesome.

Amazing!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this! Recieved this as a gift for Christmas, and set it up in minutes. It was very simple. Highly recommend 4K HDMI cables and a 4K TV for compatibility. If you have these, then you’re in for a great quality product and picture.

Love Apple tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like most apple products this is very easy to navigate and use I've had the most recent non 4K for about a year and love it. Also nice to have previously purchased movies available in 4K. Siri search still isn't perfect but great product over all

Great Picture!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am an Apple fan boy yes, but I am also a lover of picture quality. This 4K apple TV is phenomenal. I have an OLED TV and capable of Dolby Vision, and let me tell you the Dolby Vision content looks amazing. I also have a FireStick 4K that has dolby vision, and the apple tv looks so much better. Not too mention that the Apple tv up converts to 4k and the home screen is in Dolby vision. Price is the only downside to this, but if you have apple products it is great, also works as the home kit hub for your smart devices.

APPLE DOES IT AGAIN
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the Apple 4K interface for Spectrum. We tried Roku Stick and although it was good, it seems the clarity and speed of the Apple 4K box is much better. Maybe Roku Ultra would have been comparable but now that the Apple 4K is installed and working, it's not going anywhere. The mouse takes getting used to, but I downloaded the remote onto my phone and that seems much easier to use. I know it's pricier than the other products but there is probably a reason why.

Works like one expects from an Apple product
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have an Apple ecosystem and the Apple TV gen. 5 joined in flawlessly. It was easy to set up - the on screen prompts walk you through it. The remote is quite different from earlier generations and takes some getting used to. Siri can make it easier, but be aware that not every app supports Siri. That said there is lots of online support to help with the use of the remote. We’ve connected the Apple TV to both Sony and Samsung TVs and the picture was flawless on both. All in all highly recommended.

Add It To Your Apple Ecosystem
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a unit with a nice looking interface and a very fast response. I do think it is more expensive than it should be. Unfortunately, that is the case with most Apple products. However, if you are part of the Apple ecosystem, this is definitely something you should add to your world. Setup is extremely easy if you have an iPhone, and when you add it to your existing account it is just a simple matter of downloading apps.

Excellent upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had the first generation Apple TV since it came out and love it. Apple TV 4K, however, operates a lot faster, has outstanding picture quality, and is Siri enabled. On top of that it’s an excellent platform for HomeKit. Highly recommend.

Excellent Streaming Box
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best box I've owned and the best quality. It plays everything, is nice and quiet, uses little energy, runs games great, and is easy to use. The only major drawback is that if you game on it, the 32 GB internal storage fills up fast, definitely could've used the 64 GB model and in the future, hopefully Apple will double the storage on an Apple TV 5 so that isn't as much of a problem. Still, it's highly recommended for anyone interested in an easy streamer!

Needs software update to fix HDR menu nonsense
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best 4k streamer on the market; it's incredibly powerful and the OS is intuitive and customizable. The real problem with it so far is that the menu is dull and lifeless because the system is trying to apply HDR to content that was not made for HDR. You'll see this complaint on forums everywhere, so don't be surprised when you turn the unit on for the first time and notice your 4th generation Apple TV had a more vibrant and colorful menu.

Best Apple TV Yet!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful picture, HDR content on a 4K TV is amazing. Apple upgrading old movie purchases to 4K is a huge plus and money saver. The 4K HDR screensavers are a under-valued addition to the product. This is truely the best Apple TV yet.

Apple 4K TV Review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Apple TV 4K has definitely added some new improvements over the last generation. Set up was super easy with an iPhone. You hold the phone close to your device and it automatically selected the wifi network and downloaded all your previous apple tv apps with in a few moments if you have fast internet. The easiest set up ever. However if you have cable tv you will have to re-enter in your password for the apps. The 4k streaming is beautiful. I believe the netflix 4k is much sharper and detailed vs using the build in app on my Samsung TV. The new designed remote with the white circle around the menu button was a nice design upgrade this time around. When it low light situations the tactile feel will help navigate much better, instead of trying to control the apple remote upside down. I highly recommend.

4K Apple TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased the 4K version since my TV is 4K and the picture is fantastic. Setup was very easy. If I select Apple TV from any menu or the remote the TV switches from the input I was watching to the input required for the Apple TV.

A NEED FOR STREAMERS
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I stream almost everything. Netflix, digital copies of movies through Vudu, YoutubeTV, Disney+, you name it. I have a Sony Bravia TV (900e) and anyone that has a relatively new Sony Bravia knows that their picture is great, however the Android TV built in is garbage. For audio, Ive got an older Samsung Dolby Atmos soundbar (K850) that delivers wonderful sound. The built in OS to the Sony wasnt cutting it. I started with a Roku Stick+ ran through my soundbar and then out to the TV via an Audioquest Sky cable. I was fine with the Roku's picture and OS, however I ran into a few audio issues, and quickly found out everything that SHOULD be giving me Dolby Atmos audio, wasnt. After a little while, I finally gave in and spent the money and got an Apple TV 4k. (From $49 to $179) I decided to invest a little more into the upgrade since I can appreciate a quality picture and above average audio, and used Audioquest Cinnamon cables from the Apple Tv to the Samsung soundbar, and then passed through another Audioquest Cinnamon cable to my Sony Bravia. COMPARED TO THE ROKU, THE VIDEO QUALITY AS WELL AS AUDIO QUALITY WENT UP TEN FOLD. On top of that, the apps themselves are much easier to use, and the Siri Remote is a HUGE upgrade from the Roku Stick+ voice remote. Voice commands are much more responsive and even let you search within apps with the Siri button, as well as spell out passwords if you like. Then add on, if you have an iPhone, the Apple TV remote app is fantastic and lets you type from your phone's keyboard, directly into your Apple Tv. Id recommend this for everybody, even if you have a brand new Samsung/Sony/LG Smart TV, you WILL notice a difference from the internal operating system or from a Firestick/Roku.

Would Recommend This
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used this device for a long time. The 4k one has provided amazing upsampling to apps like Youtube so the videos look great on my 85"4k tv. It keeps all my apps like netflix prime video hulu etc... organized and easy to use from one source. I wlmost gave it 1 star less because i am not a fan of the remote. It is very sensitive - even if i do adjust the tracking - but overall it is not horrible.
