Thank you Apple for stepping up with 4K. Picture quality and color is amazing, and having many of your iTunes movies upgrade to 4K for free is a nice bonus.

Lovely images and options - so vivid on the new 4K tv's! Several bugs from older models are gone, much more ability to customize your choices. Remote is wonderful upgrade, both with the voice (only problem is with my southern accent) and size and options.

This is a wonderful addition to our TV allowing a greater amount of viewing choices! User friendly! Quality is superb! Must have for anyone!

Definitely worth the money. The interface is nothing short of amazing. The remote is really nice and it’s blazing fast. Way better than fire tv.

The Apple TV 4k was super easy to set up and the 4k video is stunning on my 4k tv. And, I never seem to buffer like I do on other connected devices.

I have a Sonos sound system and a Sony x900h tv. The tv has all the apps in it so I didn’t think I’d need an Apple TV. I was wrong. Smart tvs are great, but just can’t do what the Apple TV can do. Movies sound and look great with Dolby Atmos and vision. Plus, with Apple Music through the Apple TV 4K, I get Atmos and lossless audio through the Sonos system. This is a vital piece to home entertainment.

I bought this as an open box. I enjoy the 4k viewing and am impressed with the resolution test. It lets me know what resolution input is going on and sets the output accordingly. I have Charter Spectrum which doesn't get along with Apple so I have to download most channel apps individually. To get some on demand programming through the apps I have to subscribe for a fee and I already have the cable subscription so that is disappointing (PBS, Sundance for example).

Easy to install and easy to use. With big fingers it is a bit of a challenge to use the remote.

Amazing device. I used to use the fire stick and it became very slow and sometimes unresponsive. Upgraded to the Apple TV and it’s like night And day. This is so fast and super responsive AND you can play a bunch of cool games on it! Highly recommended!!

Love my Apple TV 4K. Picture looks great on my 75" Samsung 4K TV. Lot's of great apps available on the app store and the features that work with my other Apple devices make it very easy to use. Only thing I would change is the touch pad on the remote since it's a little hard to use.

Easy set up. Works really well. Picture quality is pretty good too. Minor buffering when streaming.

I picked this streaming player up due to my other older players having so many issues with Dolby Atmos codecs. I wanted something that integrated well with the rest of my apple devices and gave me the best compatibility with Dolby atmos. Works great! I’ve had no problem getting 4K and atmos on Netflix, Disney+, Amazon, etc.. I think the shield is still a nice device and if I didn’t already have a house full of apple products I think it would be a toss up. The apple integration is the tipping point for me.

Well built and solid UI just like all Apple products I have used. That’s what 5stars is for. However, it does not do anything (for me) more than my chromecast already does. My iPhone is completely compatible with chromecast. Remote on this Apple TV is way to sensitive and just another device to charge etc. biggest convenience is having entire libraries and services on one central hub if you will. What smart tv/phone today doesn’t already do that. Go chromecast and save a lot of money plus never have to see the device as an added bonus. Returned it for this reason.

Have had the older Apple TV for years. Bought a 4K TV it was time to break down and upgrade to the new stuff. Did not disappoint!

I just started streaming two weeks ago. Setup is simple, especially if you already have a newer Apple device. It took me a few days to find a streaming service to stick with. Installing apps is easy but takes some time to setup. There are now several streaming services that offer local channels so no need for an antenna. I really like the menu and apps available on iTunes Store. Great option for streaming, even for an older guy like me!

Better that the smart feature on my Sony x900f which running and older chip. Maybe the newest Sony models are much improved (Dolby Vision) etc. Definitely much easier to use if you have Mac products already (iPhone/IPad etc) as they integrate perfectly. No Lag, much better UI , though you really are stuck with the Belkin Cables. They should just include them with purchase. Hopefully the next model will have the newer chip and other cool features.

I bought this to replace an outdated earlier generation Apple TV. The interface and touch remote are great, though I’ve have a few connection issues with this model at times that made it frustrating. It’s working great now, though $180 is probably too expensive for what this is.
