Great product but had faced an annoying obstacle when I tried to set it up. My WiFi has a security feature where you have to manually add devices by their MAC address. However, with this model, you can’t complete the set up until you connect it to the internet. And you can not see this devices MAC address until after the set up. So it was problem that some people should know. Especially some college kids because dorms and student housing tend to use that WiFi security features. And maybe hotels

Got what I expected. No problems at all. Easy to use.

Love it. Groups everything together, making it nice and simple. The negatives are: It decodes audio to multichannel lpcm, and a lot of soundbars released this year have issues with that. I'm still very happy with it. Just make sure your audio equipment can output mc lpcm!

great system and love the way it pairs with my iphone! i only wish i’d thought about needing one for every TV in my home. worth it.

If you own any other Apple product, then you need this for your TV. Apple ecosystem allows everything to work together seamlessly. And now with tvOS 14, it has picture in picture and HomeKit allows your video doorbell to pop up on your TV. I highly recommend the Apple TV.

Set up was easy, great for my detached garage TV .

Works well, but most smart TVs and cable DVRs offer 90% of the same capability already built-in.

I bought a Roku 4K and returned it without opening it. Salesman recommended the Roku also based upon cost. I already have a Roku 4K with another TV. I’m so glad I took the leap on the Apple 4K. It cost more but it is sooooooooooo much better. You won’t regret it. I never used ITunes for movies but it is great.

After a few months of usinf the device I can tell that it works very well the media consumptions apps (youtube, disney, amazon, spotify, etc), if you are familiar with the apple ecosystem this media center will complement the rest of connectivity with the other apple devices that you have.

Only reason for the 4 star is it remote. Ir stopped turning off the tv. Wish we had cut the cables long ago. Savings over 100 a month streaming.

Apple TV is the best aggregator of subscriptions especially if you don’t have cable. It connects my Netflix, Hulu, HBO and others services into an easy to use central navigation center. It’s also great to bring with you on vacation or when visiting with family.
