Was hesitant at first since I used the fire stick prior, however being an apple user I figured I’d give it a try and I’m glad I did. More apps to chose from and connecting my phone or iPad to the Apple TV is very satisfying if I can’t find the app on there, I have it on my phone, win win !

I only use Apple TV. I use it for all of my TVs in multiple rooms.

BUYER BEWARE! Picked this up to replace an Amazon Fire stick and setup Apple Home. Apple TV had better picture quality and was much more responsive than the Fire Stick and is ok for Apple Home. It worked great for the first couple months on an older 4K Samsung tv I have but recently it has been dropping picture every other minute. It started out only cutting to a black screen for a second or two during an hour long show(seemed to only happen in the Netflix app) but it has gotten to the point where it’s pointless streaming video through any app on this device. The video cut out have gotten so bad an hour long show becomes 2 hours long that’s if it can gain video signal back. The problem persists through multiple streaming apps now prime/paramount/max/appletv. I’ve tried numerous different HDMI cables, changed settings on the tv, and the device all with no luck. I’ve read on apple support that this is a common issue with older Samsung 4k tvs and even some older Sony 4k tvs but I have yet see any solution for this issue whether from Apple or other consumers. I have another Apple 4k TV/Ethernet hooked up on a 1080p Samsung and 1080i Sony and have never experienced this issue on it.

I like the ease of use between the Apple devices. Although I wish the Ethernet port was still there.

I find it difficult to hookup to my television in fact I’ve yet to get it too work !!!

Perfect if you have other Apple devices. Seamlessly integrates with it all.

The apple tv is phenomenal. We got so tired of the tvs smart capabilities stalling, or not working thag we biught two! One for the living room and one for the bedroom! Tv has been so much better since. Definitely buy one as it merges so seemlessly with other apple proudcts!

Always been a fan of the Apple TV, and the latest version is no exception. Slightly smaller than the previous gen, and the new remote is fantastic & surprisingly bulky compared to the old one but that’s not a bad thing.

My LG OLED webOS is too old for HBO Max. The only app my TV can't get. Got it installed, so now I'm ready for The Last of Us debut 1/15. Seems snappy and enjoying it so far. Used $5 price match and $5 certificate. First Apple device. Just make sure you have a highspeed cable for Dolby Vision. I ordered a Zeskit.

Love the Apple TV. Bought for our daughter for Christmas and then one for our daughter & son in law for a wedding gift.

It’s what you’d expect from ATV. The remote is still not as good as other streamers and frustrating. It also fails to offer pass through audio which is a huge barrier for dedicated Plex servers, forcing us to use Nvidia shield. The hdr10+ is a nice feature and make a PQ difference. Can’t see the need to upgrade from the 2nd gen to 3rd gen for probably 90 percent of people. If apple updates to allow pass through audio it would be a great box.

Apple TV 4K 3rd generation is the latest media player in this category. As usual some may say it's overpriced and others may say it's worth it due to the apple ecosystem, its software and hardware. Put me in the latter group. To me even when apple gets it wrong, they make it right.
