Better than most streaming devices ngl the remote touch pad is a little weird

I’ve had the earlier generations of the Apple TV, but I haven’t had as much trouble with those than this one. For one when I play anything on it, the sound goes in and out. Thought it was the hdmi, so I replaced that, but it still does it. (But it isn’t the TV itself because it doesn’t do it when I have it on the regular TV). Plus the remote keeps losing sync with it.

Apple has me locked. Most of my movies are in their ecosystem. If I knew then what I do know now, I would have passed on apple TV when it relaunched again. How does a streaming device age out? Owe I got to buy the new one because it's too old.

I love this thing. My tv doesn't have spectrum app so i both this and now i do. It has the ability to play games from app store with my ps5 controller

Apple users must have for streaming purposes. Makes life easier

It’s doing the job I purchased it for. Optimum would not run a simple wire through the wall so I have to stream in my bedroom and apple had the optimum app. I took off two stars because for the price it should have come with a cable to charge the remote and an hdmi cable. It is also hard to tell how much power is left in the remote without going through a few menus and when it’s charging there is no indication that it actually is charging. I should not have had to buy a cable to charge this. The other thing is not having the ability to enter a channel number while using the optimum app. I just use a smaller new LG TV in the bedroom that is only 1080 so the apple box will not give you the ability to choose 4K, I wish there was a cheaper more basic apple box but it’s doing the job so far.

Saving one gazillion dollars by dumping Xfinity…..

A need if you have the apple ecosystem. Everything working together, doesnt even need thr physical remite change change what im watching from my iphone.

Priced well and the product is an improvement form the last generation which is what we all expect. Highly recommend it.

Like the controller better than the last model. Does seem slower in processing a glitchy when first opening apps. Trying to move through selections is pretty choppy at times. Overall pleased with the upgrade
