Compared to Amazon Firestick remote, the Apple TV remote was not consistent with the touch. I would have had to buy more apps than with Firestick.

This makes my 3rd Apple TV in my house all 3 are different generation’s, this one has been trouble not even 2 weeks after booking it up the remote stopped working and couldn’t get it to reconnect

For the price it didnt even come with HDMI cord. Disappointing.

Swiping on the remote is worse than the older version, had to return it.

I am giving this a 1 star due to not being able to connect to it. The product is tied to my phone number which I left apple after the iphone 3. Tried to reset nothing. Tried to create new log in nothing. Tried for 3 hours to set it up. Hard pass.

Works well and then just quits. Frequently! Not easy to control for individual preferences. Too high priced. Basically a mess.

I have Apple TV 3rd generation and we loved that product,I recently bought couple of new Apple TVs and the remote sucks. Too many issues with the product.

The picture is amazing. The unit has to be restarted every time to be reconnected to the internet.

I’ve had it for a couple of weeks. I don’t like it at all and might switch out to my older version. The resolution supposed to be better. I think it is. However, it is very glitchy and there’s this green scree that pops up sometimes. Also I press the play button in the makn screen it sometimes crashes and I have to restart. I tried resetting it but it just seems like it needs an update.

Amazing picture and audio quality. Drastic difference compared to firestick with my projector. Simply superb!!

My only complaint is that the remote can be difficult to keep charged. When remote is low (very hard to know the amount remaining) it makes using the Apple TV miserable. The rest of the time the Apple TV is great.

My idea is fine but as usual the 3 items were not available to me.When I called there was only even though it stated 3.

I had firesticks for years and just bought this! So amazing and the graphics are beautiful and you can listen with airpods! Definitely happy and its seemless!

It really sucks that it doesnt habe 120hz with a hdmi 2.1. Yes its possible but knowing apple theyre saving it for their GRAND NEW UPDATE

With Apple now giving this a cheaper price and HDR+ and faster processor - its great add on

I own the 2021 version and wanted a new one for the tv upstairs. Buy the older version from 2021, theres a reason i'ts more money, you get what you pay for. Sound quality is not as good. I tried 2 different apple tv's and they both kept freezing up with poor sound quality. Also, i dont notice any speed difference between the new and older version. Oh yeah! I checked my settings to make sure.

Best Buy has the worst delivery. They choose Ontrac and are stating my delivery will take two weeks. And, they leave no option to cancel or refund my money. I can go to a brick and mortar faster. Worst service.

The remote starts acrolling and doesn’t stop. I exchanged for a newine iand it does the same .

No ethernet connection. My connection for this device is hard wired.

Not notiably better than the 4th gen I had. Picture seems the same, not noticing spped or other inprovements. I do like the redesigned remote - more ergenomic I think, but it also seems more finicky and have for somw reason seems a lot less sensirive / have to somwtimes go closer to the box to control. Maybe it’s an issue with wifi signals, bur disnt have the issue eith the old apple tv.
