Have had Apple TVs for years from the firet generation. This new model came with a redesigned remote and it has stopped working completely in less than a month. The remote connection notification toggles between ‘connected’ and ‘lost’ and the remote only works if I am pointing directly at it within two feet.

Decent price, but they wouldn’t price match. Best Buy support was great

Does not come with a cord that is required for this to work and the cord I ordered along with this keeps on getting “delayed”

Great for viewing tv apps that the tv doesn’t come with.

Complicated set up. Apple wouldn’t even let me create an apple id. YT TV is not seamless on app. Cluttered layout!

Need to return. Audio and video feeds constantly break up . Have to keep re installing apps. None which happened prior to installing. Thank goodness I have Total Tech so we can make the change

Device decode the sound and send it to the TV/Receiver. Doesn't support bit stream. I have home theatre setup with Onkyo 7.2 receiver. Problem is it doesn't pass the original sound track to the receiver.

Short staffed, can’t even talk to anyone at the store. Call center from another country has extremely long wait times to even ask a question.

Purchased and tried to return unopened to Best Buy . The return policy of 10 days is crazy, will never buy anything at Best Buy again!

Lousy, do not buy it I returned it second day, it kept asking me for apple ID Roku is better choice

Added this to Denon AVR and LG G1 tv and it is everything I expected. Great picture/sound, easy to use controller, and setup is extremely simple. Only real downside is if you want to have a tc that is restricted on certain apps, say for use with kids you need another apple is to lock things down. Overall would purchase again.

They never delivered my package and just returned it and then it’s 11 days now and no refund yet

The remote is an issue. The last model worked well. This model has an issue with the remote. I use my phone as the remote most of the time.

Went through 6 of these and finally gave up.nktnsire what had happened to apple products.

The remote is too sensitive, it came with gift I couldn’t use. Apple wouldn’t let me activate my Apple subscription

You can just download the Apple Tv app . doesnt connect well to the wifi

Bought because my Samsung built in apps left me wanting. after lots of reading on various devices I landed on Apple TV because of its reported ease of set up, and features. The device is pretty simple and sleek looking. The whole set up took about 5 - 8 minutes. The operating system works smoothly. It searches and downloads with excellent speeds. There was noticeable improvement in picture quality on some apps and marginal improvement on others. The remote is pretty cool but since I like to fidget with my remotes, the wheel in the center makes it sensitive and I sometimes pull up menus I did not intend to. But overall I am very happy with my purchase.
