BUYER BEWARE! Picked this up to replace an Amazon Fire stick and setup Apple Home. Apple TV had better picture quality and was much more responsive than the Fire Stick and is ok for Apple Home. It worked great for the first couple months on an older 4K Samsung tv I have but recently it has been dropping picture every other minute. It started out only cutting to a black screen for a second or two during an hour long show(seemed to only happen in the Netflix app) but it has gotten to the point where it’s pointless streaming video through any app on this device. The video cut out have gotten so bad an hour long show becomes 2 hours long that’s if it can gain video signal back. The problem persists through multiple streaming apps now prime/paramount/max/appletv. I’ve tried numerous different HDMI cables, changed settings on the tv, and the device all with no luck. I’ve read on apple support that this is a common issue with older Samsung 4k tvs and even some older Sony 4k tvs but I have yet see any solution for this issue whether from Apple or other consumers. I have another Apple 4k TV/Ethernet hooked up on a 1080p Samsung and 1080i Sony and have never experienced this issue on it.

Ciming from the firestick Ill never go back. This is faster, easier, better layout, no issues with soind dnych being off from someones lips taking either. Only way to go!

This is the 3rd Apple TV I've owned over the years and every model just gets better. I like the beefier remote because it doesn't want to slide between the couch pillows as much.

Does exactly what I wanted it for and I love the seamless connectivity with my iPhone!

Works better than expected. Using it to replace a cable box to save money. Only one regret, that I did not buy it sooner.

Upgraded from an older model and enjoy the improvements. The new remote is much better.

Had a 75” Samsung that the wireless card was going out so purchased this Apple TV and using it as the wireless card which saved us from having to replace the tv since we are a streaming family now

Fantastic item that keeps getting better with each new version. Love the way the AppleTV is able to aggregate searches across applications/providers to provide you with multiple viewing options.

Easy set up. The box can be in the cupboard and still works well

Great operating system and great 4k resolution grear for iPhone and ipad airplay. Remote has great battery life highly recommend for smart apps or to make any tv more enjoyable to watch

Got this to play atmos music tracks with apple music. Overall its decent, it connected to the wifi well, displays fine and has good audio and visual playback. however as someone who is not part of the apple ecosystem the box does have some major drawbacks. Most notably is the text ui is terrible on these, instead of all the letters being in a nice grid they are all a-z in one long line. so password entry or searching for a song or movie without using voice to text is awefull.

Love the Apple box! We can watch anything, including YouTube and Amazon prime. Good buy.

This product is great for anybody looking to upgrade the look and functionality of their basic tv !

Really good streaming device the only takeaway is that it is a bit expensive

Love this product, works great. Be aware this does not have a hard network port is WIFI only (I even says that on box). That was something I missed when buying, there is a version that has that as well.

Graat works as advertised. No issues with any functionality. Came in generic box.

Apple TV has the best interphase out there by far.

I have an older 4k smart tv from Sony and the built in software and chromecast was becoming impossible to use. Buying this made it like a whole new tv. Bypass your terrible tv software and get an Apple TV.
