If you are not familiar with the Apple TV perhaps you have lived in a cave for past ten years -- haha. I do live inside the 'walled garden' of Apple products and the Apple TV does work as advertised within the Apple ecosystem of devices. Does what it is supposed to do. It simply works and never had an issue. Set-up is easy, even easier if you are an iPhone user. This latest version has a MUCH improved remote but still is kinda fussy on the touchpad which is annoying. If you have a universal remote I do recommend programming it to the Apple TV. No idea why they offer multiple storage options--not sure what would be storing?? I often gift this to people I know moving to a new house or who somehow never had a dedicated streaming device before. Keep in mind the 4K functionality is Streaming content only, broadcast TV like from YouTube TV or DirecTV is still broadcast in 1080. Definitely recommend if you are an iPhone / Apple user. I cannot speak to experience if are an Android user -- am guessing be fine, some the Air Play and Face Time functionality may not apply?? I dunno, haven't used Android in 15-ish years. Is awesome, buy it.

This is the third one I have purchased within 60 days. This was definitely a great investment.

This Apple TV streaming device made it a whole lot easier for us to get to our tv apps! We love it!

Apple TV is a great way to get all your streaming services on one device that is easy to setup and use. The WiFi version is great for rooms without a hard wired connection.

Easy set up, it can be preprogrammed to your home network and once you get it, it can be set up in just a matter of minutes. Very easy to use. It automatically change the input by turning on the AppleTV remote.

In an era of Smart Tv's, the apple tv reigns supreme with ease of use, clear picture quality in most scenarios, and overall features. Media beast that saves me from buying a new tv.

Great for streaming 4k HDR and Dolby Vision. I pair this up with an LG OLED and this will give you the best picture possible for streaming. I was previously using my PS5 and the quality difference is apparent. Apple TV also has the feature to match frame rate which PlayStation does not offer.

Faster and sharper picture quality, haven’t had any buffering slowdowns while streaming. The remote control is a major improvement over the previous one which had a glass face.

I bought this to replace my 4th generation Apple TV. It's a great device. The picture quality on my 4K tv is super clear. But my favorite part is the new remote. It feels great in the hand is easy to use. I also like that it's now charged via USB-C rather than the previous lightning cable. Definitely a great buy.

4K is a game changer for Apple TV. When the original 4K Apple TV came out, they all had Wi-Fi and wired ethernet capabilities. The difference was the capacity of the SSD. Now, in addition to the size of the SSD, either 64 or 128 GB, Apple removed the ethernet port on the smaller model. Because most people do not use wired ethernet at home, the smaller size at 64 GB should be sufficient, because most content is streamed rather than stored on the device. If you were going to use the TV and enterprise network environment, I suggest buying the more expensive one because Apple TV works better in the enterprise environment when hardwired.

I bought a refurbished version to save a few bucks. Did not have any scratches or dings on the unit or remote. Works flawlessly (so far). Sometimes buying refurbished can be hit or miss. This purchase is a relative hit.

I upgraded from the Apple TV 4K GEN 2, to this gen 3 and it was actually worth it for me. The interface is much snappier, and it pairs wonderfully with my Sony A95K. If you're on the fence about upgrading, definitely go for it. Spoil yourself!
