Good stream box with bad remote

This newer remote is slightly better than my older Apple TV, but I am constantly struggling with controlling what I want to click on the TV menus. I think it's the worst remote of any stream box I've used. Also, the Apple TV turns my TV on, but doesn't turn it off with the power button. I really only needed this to serve as an Apple Home Kit hub for a garage door opener and it does serve that purpose.

It really makes a difference going from the TV operating system to an Apple TV. Way faster and responsive, better quality shows.

I am still trying to figure out how to set up my homekit but just the tv part has come so far from years ago The remote is thicc and I use the Siri button a lot. I wish I knew this was so much better sooner! You can connect two pairs of airpods if you want quiet listening. I am a convert. Though I kind of wish I bought the one with an ethernet port for whatever "Thread" technology is.....

Easy to set up, especially if you have an iPhone and easy to use. I have one on each TV and they work seamlessly. I’d used different media streaming devices in the past and this is definetly the way to go!! Highly recommend.

Faster processing than smart tv and way cooler

Packaging itself was like an oragami piece of art. The dedicated processing power of the Appletv made switching and loading apps fast. The remote is very intuitive. The interconnectivity with the iPhone and iwatch is pretty cool. I created shortcuts to even control the hue lighting with the tv. If you lose the remote your iPhone can find it!!! What?! What!?
