Nice upgrade and with the App Store, I am curious to see where it really goes. I have downloaded 15 apps already, all within the first two days of using it

I have considered buying an Amazon Fire TV Stick, Chromecast, Nvidia Shield and other streaming media players. Being that my family loves apple products and we have an iPhone, iPad, and MacBook...we came to the conclusion that the Apple TV would best fit our needs. After using the Apple TV for about a month now, I am very happy with my purchase. Here are the things I love about the Apple TV: - AirPlay pairs perfectly with all of our apple products - All of the apps we enjoy using with our tv subscription work very well on the apple tv (if you only have one subscription box for one TV you can use the apple TV for your other TV's and save some $$$) - Easy to move from tv to tv - The remote is fun to use and works seamlessly (don't forget to get a cover for your remote!) - The 1080p resolution looks very nice with our 1080p tv. Cons: - Some of the best games that are on ios devices are not on the Apple TV - The Apple TV does not come with a gaming controller, you have to buy it separately - Sometimes Youtube app doesn't work - The apple TV does not look as good on our 4k TV (we don't know why this is) Ultimately, I would say that all apple households need an apple tv. Some of our family have decided to purchase the Apple TV as well after using ours. It is a great addition to your media center!

I'm sure more content is on the way but the interface is so really cool and the App Store is amazing. Highly recommended for those in the Apple Universe!!

Apple TV 4th Gen is the best streaming media player. Way better than the old Apple TV. Very classy. Do yourself a favor and get the 64GB. Thank me later.

Siri and the touch pad makes using Apple TV easier than the older models and gives the user new capabilities.

The new remote is a vast improvement with great capabilities. The interface is much improved. Can't wait for the app store to be a little more populated.

I have the first generation apple TV and this one has much better quality and you can add apps on it, has on screen search buttons that are easy to use

Love it. but if you have an apple tv already its not enough new to justify the purchase unless you have kids that might enjoy the games you download. the interface is totally new and up to date. pretty awesome but just bells and whistles because at the end of the day its the same old apple tv. love the ability to control the sound from the remote. even hooks up to my sound bar. and it actually powers on the tv when you wake it up. so convient for me since i cant keep up with remotes. the motion hd screensavers are the best. wish they continue to bring more of those

I had an older version of the Apple TV .....love this upgrade! Everything seems to be better and the remote is the best part. Siri is definately a plus.

We have apple TVs for all 4 of our TVs and this New one is the BEST! I love the apps and the remote is Awesome! Nothing better on the market right now.

apple improved their apple tv with this revision. no 4k support, but the app store makes up for that. much needed update to a all around great product.

I have owned every generation of Apple TV. This is by far the best one so far, and the roll out of TV-OS is a big step. Apple finally has an App store for the Apple TV. However, the selection of apps available for the 4th Gen Apple TV are small right now. That is why I have deducted 1 star. I was hoping Apple was going to "roll out the red carpet" with this product, and have a fairly sizable selection of apps available at release. There have been some new ones released since I purchased, so I am hopeful the list will continue to grow. Otherwise, this is a very solid device. If you live in the Apple world of iPhones, iPads, Macs, iTunes, etc., this is a must have addition to your living room. Everything works seamlessly, and the new CPU they have put in the box is incredibly quick. You won't be disappointed.

I purchased the Apple TV 4 so I could move my Apple TV 3 to another TV in the house. I like the ability to load more apps through the App Store. The ability to type using my iPhone or iPad makes it much easier than using Siri or the on screen keyboard. I do wish on screen keyboard was set up like that on the Apple TV 3 and not one long row. I considered a Roku or Fire TV, but liked the ability to stream directly from my iPhone and iPad without having to download another app or hook the devices up to the TV.

Doesn't support 4K. Very glitchy. HomeKit needs improvement. I like the new remote, basic games, and the video screensaver is nice but they currently don't have the Flickr screensaver.

Very nice product. Easy to use , easy to install. Works well and fast . I can access many apps , channels, sports , news and music .

The interface is even easier to navigate than the previous Apple TV. The GUI looks really good. Siri works great for me. If I tell her to play a show on Netflix she will bring it up. Siri also makes filling in passwords or forms easy. Doesn't have 4k, but not much use for that yet, and I doubt anyone would notice a difference anyway. I also use my AppleTV as a HomeKit hub. Works great with my Schlage lock. 5 stars if AppleTV had Amazon Prime video or an Apple equivalent built in. Maybe someday they will.

The new remote is great and more features.This unit allows the access to apps so you can do a lot more. As always Apple builds a solid product.

This is a replacement for the second gen Apple TV, so I'm familiar with both the setup and general use of the Apple TV. Apple's new TV will not disappoint. Easy setup; the most recent firmware update allows the old iPhone app to control the system. The have added support via Siri which is helpful but still takes getting use to. The TV App Store is a real plus, but waiting on what games will be available. Just one complaint, past Apple TV had all channels pre-loaded. Now you must search out the ones you want and download from the App Store.

Has App Store to download apps but doesn't have Amazon video or VUDU which is one of the reasons I updated from old Apple TV but runs smoother than old one and can do way more

The new Apple TV is easy to use. Great for downloading movies and apps. Gaming , apps and music all symced with my other Apple devices
