Our first foray into internet TV and the Apple TV product works great. The small but very capable remote is easy to learn and use. The price is the only negative as it seems a bit steep.

This beats the older model hands down, being able to have your apps, and have Siri makes it so easy to search

I am rapidly beginning to consider leaving cable and going down the path of subscription based/streaming services and AppleTv is a big reason why. I love how fast and intuitive this version of AppleTV is. We love the apps, games and ability to rent and buy our media quickly. I am a big fan.

Really love the trackpad on the remote as well as the Siri/mic option so that I don't have to always type in long passwords and easily find apps. I also am pleased with the new OS set up in which apps are easy to find and use. Very simple set-up and user friendly, like all Apple products. Love it!

The addition of apps to the tv is huge. The possibility of just paying for the tv shows that I want to watch is great. I pay Uverse for tons of channels that I don't watch because they are packaged together. The apple tv could bring freedom to all tv watchers.

Apple is back again, it will change the game with this product, games, apps, everything to the big screen!

I bought this in hopes of replacing my cable subscription and it looks like my hopes will be realzied!! I have a vast movie and show collection that I can stream, there are already free channels you can watch, and I have a Netflix account. This device will also allow for me to play my music through my theater system! This device is a win win. I just hope that developers really take the Apple TV OS and make some interesting and useful apps with it!

I have had a first gen ATV since they came out. Still works great but at some point YouTube got removed and I noticed Several available Apple TV apps while installing them on my iphone. These were not available in my older ATV. So I decided to give the new box a try; and I'm glad I did. The box is a little bigger and heavier making it stay in place easier and not moving due to the weight of the cables behind it. The menus are elegant and images load fast, faster than on my Samsung smart tv or my cable box. The screensaver a are beautiful aerial clips of great quality. There are tons of apps and even games to downloads. I've been focused on tv apps but my kids got a kick of playing crossy roads on the tv. As always, the box works great in the iOS universe, you can send your phone screen to the tv, stream your music to the box and send it through optical output to your amplifier, and get your pictures to display as screensaver from your iCloud pictures. Great box overall.

This is a great addition to the Apple TV line. Finally they have givens the Apple TV the App Store adding millions of possibilities to this entertainment option. The biggest addition is gaming! Taking iOS gaming to the set top puts this unit in a whole other catagory. Add a mfi gaming controller and you have a real gaming experience! I'm not a huge gamer but my kids love it and I enjoy playing with them. If you already own an Apple TV, set up is a breeze as all the cables were identical. Be aware that it doesn't have an optical connection anymore. Audio passes through the hdmi only now. Some reviews mention that the app from the phone doesn't work. As of yesterday the app has been updated and that functionality is back. Set up is really cool through you iPhone. Just hold your phone next to it and it adds your wifi and account info. Again, Apple makes the integration of their products next level and owning an entire Apple line you will get a more seemless experience. I also have a harmony remote and I didn't have to change a thing on it. It works identical as my old Apple TV. So again complete set up took only a few minutes. Compared to the other Apple tvs, load time is faster and searching is a breeze with the Siri remote. Well worth the extra price!

Forget the old Apple TV, the new one (I got the 64GB) is awesome! The ability to get Apps is nice as I have one for every major network and then some such as: NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, Nat Geo and too many to list. I also have several Apps such as Weather, GPS data etc and it works flawlessly. The TV apps allow you to watch most show "on demand" and of course you can get Netflix, Hulu etc, not to mention all the sports like NFL, MLB, NBA etc. Get one!!

Apple TV is good for someone who has a cable or Netflix subscription so you can download all the channel apps (or Netflix app) and watch your favorite tv shows or movies. You are also able to download music and game apps or buy movies and music from Apple. There are apps that are free to download or apps that you can pay for. I haven't had it that long and am still playing around with it but overall I really like it so far.

I have been an AppleTV user for years... but this is lightyears ahead of other generations. I love it.

I originally had the first generation Apple TV for a little over a year. Once the new and improved version came out I knew I had to give it a try. The voice demands work surprisingly well! The click through rate kind of sucks because of the time it takes to accomplish what you want, but that is just a little inconvenience. Overall I love the new Apple Tv and would recommend getting the larger GB if you plan on downloading games and apps.

I've been really pleased with the updated AppleTV, and now with the expansion to allow video gaming (including the ability to use a controller) I think this is a very viable contender for those who are into casual gaming. On top of that, several game accessories are available such as Disney Infinity and Skylanders Superchargers. Lots of great entertainment options with access to an App Store. All-in-all, I think this is a great product!

Big upgrade with the remote. Overall better with the advantage to use the App Store to add apps and hopefully a lot more apps.

I wanted an Apple TV to stream my music and movies. Does a perfect job I haven’t had any issues. I have had apple rub for about 2 months still working great.

This new Apple TV has a lot of features my 2nd generation Apple TV didn't. I like the touch control, as well as Siri, and all the extra apps you can get. I can even play games that I have on my iPad. I opted for the 64g because I've learned from past experiences with phones and iPads that you can never have enough storage. Love this new model!
