When I turn off my Apple TV it doesn't turn off my TV instead it reverts it to a different HDMI input. The voice control does not work with YouTube or many other apps it would be nice to control everything with voice....

Love everything about it. Got it on "Sale & Paid much less at Best Buy than at Apple Store.

Bought this as an upgrade to my first Apple TV. The option of downloading apps was what made me purchase this. I like the touch capability on the new Siri remote. I haven't used the Siri feature yet so I can't comment on that. My only two complaints are that 1) You have to charge the remote when the battery dies, but there is no battery indicator to let you know how much charge it has left. 2) Unlike the previous Apple TV models, this does not come preloaded with common apps, such as Netflix and Hulu, so you have to start from scratch and download all of them. Other than that, I love my Apple TV!

Having mostly apple products made this one a no brainer. I don't have a good internet signal and I heard that this might help. Bought it and found it easy to use.

Easy to use and easy to install. Touch remote takes getting used too but will adapt quickly.

If you take the time to see what's possible, then this device is game changing. Highly recommend

The device is worth buying if you don’t have smart TVs or smart blueray players. It is similar to other devices like Roku for example. Something that we liked about was that you can mirror you phone screen to the TV. We ended up returning it since most of the things that we watch are already in our smart TVs. I still recommend it to anyone that doesn’t have smart TVs or that enjoys games.

I paid $100.00 for the 3rd generatiion. Just updated to the fourth generation and sorry to say they (Apple) doubled the price, only drawback at this time...

I bought it to control our lights and be a streaming center. It's performed well so far

I purchased this because we have digital copies of movies in iTunes and in VUDU. I wanted one place to watch all of my digital copies. Plus previously, we were using the PS3 to watch VUDU. To turn on the PS3 just to watch a digital copy seemed like overkill. There are better ways to do it, and I hoped the Apple TV would be one of those ways. I knew that there was a VUDU app for iOS. I have it on my iPhone and iPad. I expected to find it on the Apple TV. I discovered that there is not currently a VUDU app for the Apple TV, but they are working on one. I also discovered that older generations did have VUDU support. So if you have an older generation with the VUDU app, be aware of that before upgrading. You can Airplay a movie from the VUDU app on your i-device, but that seems cumbersome for something I expected to be available. I usually turn off automatic updates. I've seen apps remove features that I use, so I prefer to see what the changes are before performing the update. However, updating the apps on the Apple TV is not as easy as it is on an iPhone or iPad. I couldn't find an "updates" section. The only way I could see if an app had an update was to go into the app. If you have a bunch of apps (like me), that can take a considerable amount of time. Hopefully, Apple addresses this in the future. We made a mistake with our ITunes digital copies. When we first started getting them, we put them under my wife's ITunes account. Later, I added them to my ITunes account. With family sharing, you can get to them, but you can't have all of the ITunes movies together. I have to switch between my library and her library to see all of the movies. I really expected more from Apple TV. I was so disappointed, I considered returning it. However, I decided to keep it because at least I was able to watch my ITunes movies on my TV.

Really enjoy using my Apple TV. Easy to set up and use. Simple process to purchase as well.
