I purchased the original and there were many complications that they've ironed out. Being able to access more than one iTunes account is a great feature. The apps are great, the options are great, it's very quick and easy to use. My only knock is the remote. The battery life on the remote is great and it looks cool but there are some issues. The remote is extremely sensitive and the slightest touch will active it. It's also quite fragile and easy to lose. I'd suggest downloading the iPhone remote app immediately to deal with times it may get lost.

I have to say that the new model is so much nicer than the previous one I had, and also much better than the Roku that quit working which prompted me to purchase the Apple. The setup was extremly easy and the basic operation of the unit is very slick. I would have today that I highly recommend this product.
