well built but definently not worth 200 dollars just stick with the third gen for now

I am a huge Apple Fan. However, I was SHOCKED and DISAPPOINTED to learn that the Apple TV app options is not nearly as extensive as what is available for my iPhone. I purchased Apple TV with the expectation that I would have access to all of the apps that I use with my iPhone like Amazon Video, Spectrum TV, Hoopla, etc. I am seriously considering returning this device and order a Roku Premier instead. The Roku Premier is cheaper and have more app options. Sorry Apple,

Great product, easy to install, immediately I connected it and have fun.

My only negatives are (1) I'm not crazy about Windows 10, and (2) I don't get the battery life I though I would. Otherwise, very light and very powerful.

If you have ever used the apple tv you'll know it's a solid product. There are a lot of ways to consume media. If you like apple products, go for it!

Love it. The remote controls everything so easy. Passwords are now a breeze to set up.

Let me start off by saying, LOVE the Apple TV, I started with the Gen 1, and now upgraded to the newest version so I can download what apps I want, great new feature. The ONLY thing that bothers me is they got rid of the optical sound port......The TV I wanted to hook it up to does not have an optical port off the TV to the Stereo, so there is no "pass through" for devices hooked up to the TV. The TV sound is horrible and that would be my only option.......If you TV has an optical sound port you will not have this issue, if it doesn't get an older model Apple TV or a new TV.

This Apple TV is very nice. Works like a video game and has many apps ...I like it...

This unit is very fast and does a nice job. Like the ability of using VLC app without using computer or iPad to play movies from my network storage drive.

Upgraded my old Apple TV because it was not working properly. The new one works great.

We had the older generation Apple TV and there are things I prefer over this one, such as the ease of having our own photo library up on the TV. This model Apple TV does have a quirk on slower internet, and if you purchase/view SD movies instead of HD you may need to turn OFF the quick-load option. I received a "content cannot be viewed" error on a handful of movies and this solved our issue.

We are switching from Satellite to save money and love this Apple tuner. It works great!

A real smooth operator. The apple device and remote are both great Apple products!

I enjoy using my new Apple TV. It's easy and I was able to cut way back on my Uverse bill

This new AppleTV is a huge improvement over the older version. The old had frequent interruptions during video play. I used to think it was probably my internet connection, but not any more. The only problems I have encountered seem to be problems with some of the Apps. For example, the YouTube App on the new AppleTV has quite a bit less functionality than the old one. That's not Apple's problem.

The latest version of AppleTV is great! I can add the apps I want and play games.

Was very pleased with this product.. The new remote is much better than the old one.

This is my 2nd Apple TV. Liked the first one, love this one. So easy to set up and use.

There is a lot more to this product over the last generation, including apps. It gets a little buggy here and there, but nothing a little reset can't fix.
