Easy setup. Better than the 3rd generation apple tv.

The older generation apple tv was awesome but this new one is amazing. I normally would not use it for the gaming part because most games could be easily play on the phone but for kids it is a fun way of entertainment. The tv app is an easy way to have your favorite shows on deck. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

Plenty of apps for streaming TV shows, movies, YouTube, etc. Easy install, unless you use MAC filtering on your router. If you do use MAC filtering, you'll have to connect to another router or hotspot temporarily to get to the point that you can locate the MAC address for the device. Once you've added the MAC address to your router, you can then establish a permanent connection to your router. Have used Apple TV for a few weeks. I'm pleased with the purchase.

Had a couple other Apple Tv's, each generation is better and better. Didn't think I would like the touch pad, but it's actually pretty smooth to use. I can also incorporate controlling my soundbar, so less remotes, which is always a good thing. Works well, very few issues, mostly with the apps themselves, not apple tv.

We've had the apple TV for years..... this was a nice upgrade from the previous version..... very easy to use.

The Apple TV is so easy to use and has lots of uses.

Shipment was fast. A bit confusing to set up at first, but after a few phone calls which were helpful, the product has been working well.

I've used AppleTVs since 2009 and liked them a lot, but I'm not totally sold on this massive redesign. The remote is not easy to use and the way they've redesigned the interface to scroll horizontally instead of vertically makes little sense to me. I love the product integration and the new features in the software that see across the modules, but it's clunky and often crashes the individual apps. I'm not convinced this unit is worth the extra money.

Used Android TV for several months and gave up. Android laggy, slow and unstable. Apple TV is responsive, UI is smooth, you just enjoy using it. Yes, you probably have more flexibility in Android but for my a few main services like Netflix, youtube and couple more both can do but Apple does it much better.

This unit definitely supersedes it predecessor....

We used to have a roku but love having the ability to use the AirPlay function on our phones for easy phot viewing on our tv. If we wanted to view photos on the roku, there was an app to download and half the time it did not work. Worth the money with all of the apps available and compatibility with apple products!
