Works well with my TV and apple airplay devices. Touch pad on remote not quite there yet

We have Apple TV attached to all of our TVs. This is a nice upgrade as it allows you to give it voice commands. It's great for streaming Netflix and Hulu and to watch iTunes purchased movies. It also plays some games and interfaces nicely with other Apple devices. My only complaint is that the remote sucks and is hard to use, but now that the Apple TV supports voice, you'll need to use the remote a lot less.

Pretty much anything you buy these days has smart features, but the user experience can vary substantially across them. Apple TV puts iTunes in the living room, and its great. The only downside is that you'll still need some other device if you want to access your movies on Amazon and Vudu.

This was my present this year. So far I haven't used it much. I suppose if I played around with it more I might. We have a dvr and record all our shows.  tv has a few free ones and we haven't jumped into the streaming video craze completely. I have played my music over it (I need to get better speakers now) since Alexa won't work with iTunes. I'd recommend it if you rent/buy movies, etc from iTunes frequently.

It the best Apple TV so far has all the apps I wanted the only downside is no 4K support.

We use it for iTunes and now we are using the new single login feature to watch our shows through the new Apple TV app. Eventually we will switch our TV service over to internet TV with one of the providers and get rid of our existing cable package. Great job Apple...keep innovating!!

We had the older model, and glad we upgraded to this one. Enjoying the user-friendly remote.

I have an Apple TV 1st generation and for Christmas I decided to upgrade to the 4th gen. Well worth it! There is much more access to a apps that the 1st gen did not have. You can also install 3rd party software onto this Apple TV (need USB cable, sold separately). Enjoy it very much.

If you have smart devices that are Apple Home Kit compatible, the Apple TV allows you to control them remotely outside of your home. Not to mention the countless other things you can do with it, like streaming any content you like. Oh, and go ahead and ask Siri to tell you a joke! :)

The new Apple TV is great! It incorporates every feature that was missing from the previous generation. The hold to speak is a game changer. When you use that feature and name a show you're looking for, it will locate every app available where you can watch it. Which is pretty cool.

We love our Apple TV. The newest discovery with it was that we could buy a blue tooth game controller to play games which are apps on the apple tv. It has been fun for the whole family. I even use it for photography to share photos from my computer or iPhone to the Big tv. WE LOVE IT!

Its Better than the others but expensive compare to Same TV players that does same job

I already have a smart TV, but what I like about the Apple TV is the fact that I can mirror my phone. Probably the best tool to have, especially if you have a Sony which is an Android TV, which means it’s not compatible with the built in mirroring with the iPhone.

I have a number of AppleTV units and this one provides Apps for upgrades. The unit was not operating out of the box and I needed to upgrade the firmware. Not sure everyone would have realized that is what needed to be done. The unit kind of worked, but the firmware update was necessary. I have needed to update the firmware pretty frequently since I installed it as some Apps like HBOGo don't launch sometimes.

I like the idea behind the new remote but it's too sensitive.

I bought this for my daughter and she loves it. The Siri feature is a awesome addition.

I'd never go without the extended warrantee, it's only the smart thing to really have. What happens if you have a issue just days after the device isn't covered from the manufacturer. That's why I get the added warrentee.. I'm covered a little longer when it is an extended warranty

I love the new remote as well, but the processor in this unit produces an amazing picture!

Since I already had a Sony Google TV Box, I thought this would really outperform my dated system. However, after the setup, I soon realized that this Apple TV did not offer the functionality of the Google TV Box system I had purchased almost 5 years ago. First of all, I am not able to watch live television while using the features of the AppleTV. One should be able to navigate all features, or at least some of them, while being able to watch and/or listen to live tv. Secondly, the remote is slick and beautiful to look at, but not the easiest to navigate or use for quick access and typing your selections. It would have been great to include qwerty-like remote (type faster) and tracking function to page the remote if misplaced since it is so small and unlike any traditional remote. I really like the capability of the Apple TV to connect to the network and apple music, my music playlists, and other apple stuff around the house. I could go on but feel that this is overpriced and expected a bit more from AirPlay and better integration with a home entertainment system. I usually like everything Apple but not this. Hopefully it gets better the next time around.

Product offers a wide variety of viewing sources. Set up is very easy. The hand held control is very touchy and forces you to back track. Causes a lot of selection missteps. Provides high quality video, There's not much difference between the old AppleTV and the HD AppleTV. I haven't downloaded anything to the device so I can't comment on the 64gb storage. Overal this is as good a product as the last one I had.
