Typical Apple quality, thoughtful design and ease of use. However, the world is moving to 4KUHD, and Apple seems to be lagging (again) in supporting this new market. There is a fear that buying such old technology will render it obsolescent, if not obsolete, within a short space of time, reducing its overall value.

Apple delivers again the box is actually very thick it's like putting two Apple TV number threes stacked on top of one another the interfaces OK but you have to have high-speed Internet so you must have at least Comcast and Century link doesn't really work very well

Was not sure we needed Apple TV but after buying we are happy with our purchase. The access, versatility and quality of the offerings are worth the price of admission.

Really easy to share anything on your phone, iPad or computer with others in the room. Multiple users able to use it but only one at a time. My daughter used it to mirror her podcast to- .....breaks up the monotony of staring at a computer. Love it.

Apple TV gets better every time .. only down fall it's like seri where it sometimes looks for something other when using the voice option .. other then that .. ..PERFECT! The touch pad is so much better .. just hope the next one has an off /on option on the remote

Has come leaps and bounds since the earlier generations. Really like the user interface and use of apps like iPad, iPhone. 4K the way to go too; a bit pricey compared to other streaming solutions, but a lovely interface as Apple usually produces.

Excellent user interface and streaming quality makes this product the perfect choice for anyone building a digital movie library. With iTunes, all of your purchases are in one place and viewable any time. Netflix and other streaming apps work great as well!

I enjoy using Apple TV for its compatibility with my other Apple devices but the majority of the content is subscription only and there is very little in the way of free content. The game selection is not very good either. Someone at Apple needs to make nice with the game publishers as well as Microsoft and Sony in order to improve the availability of popular games for Apple TV.

I had been trying to decide on apple versus the other brands available and after reading reviews I decided apple. It does everything I want it to. It doesn't come preloaded with apps, you add what you want. I like that I can link my phone and play my music through it.

We had our HDTV connected to the Internet via ethernet cable via our DVD player but had problems with buffering and picture quality. With the Apple TV, picture quality is vastly improved. However, we have not been able to sync via bluetooth to iphone, ipad or Macbook, which limits the functionality of the device.

I chose this since I already had and iPhone and iPad. It works as advertised

I wish I had bought it years ago. I have a large iTunes library and until now I have been accessing it through a computer - now the whole family can enjoy the content. I also like the mirror play feature that lets me watch sports on the TV via Apple tv

As television moves to streaming online, no better platform than AppleTV. Have owned multiple generations but this version is the greatest. All your iTunes library plus media from your desktop computer (mac OS X), I think I can finally cut my cable provider.

Works flawlessly with other Apple products. I have Chromecast and Fire Stick and used these for quite some time. AppleTV works flawlessly without lack or delay with control. Even though it cost more, it would be great if you have iPhone, iPad or Macbook.

We had the 3rd generation Apple TV and recently upgraded to this one. The touchscreen remote works perfectly and the menus (which were already user friendly) have gotten even better. The Siri function also seems to work better than on phones. Completely satisfied!

We bought this and cut the cord with the cable company. For about $16 a month plus the cost of internet, we have just as much content to watch as we had with $150 a month cable package. For those curious, the $16 a month is for Netflix Instant Queue and Hulu Plus.

This unit is easy to use, and allows us to have hours of entertainment.
