This just makes an average tv a bit smarter. I don't believe it does anything more than your regular everyday media box like the firestick. The plus side to this device is that you could mirror your existing products like an ipad or ipod or iphone and beam it to your tv.. other than that, you wont see a difference to the cheaper alternatives.

This is truly the cable killer. This Apple TV has all my tv needs. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and the ability to rent movies through the iTunes Store. That's all I need and this new Apple TV deliveries it all! Very user friendly.

It's nice to view the different items to view. It new and different to me. I'm enjoying this item.

What teach synchronously or asynchronously with your classes while you walk around the class,mark up papers while you discuss salient content? Pair the Apple TV with your airdrop feature on the iPad Pro and teach like a techi pro.

This is obviously better than the previous generation Apple TVs

Awesome features Good to use easy and user friendly interface

We're already well engrained in the Apple Ecosystem, we have several movies that we've bought through iTunes. This version of the Apple TV is the best, and the apps features are great! I plan to buy another one for the other TV.

I bought this because it's the only streaming player I can use for my DirecTV Now subscription. It works fine, but DirecTV Now is HORRIBLE!! This player is really not much different from my Roku, except that it has a hard drive. If you need to store stuff, this is the way to go. If not, others are just as good at a much lower price point.

By far a great upgrade from my previous AppleTV. I especially love that the new box does not put every app on the home screen automatically. Only the aps you use will appear. Also, the new speech fuction makes everyhing so much better!

This is a much needed upgrade to AppleTV, with a hard drive (so you can preload movies for spotty wifi) voice control (much easier search) and app compatibility (my daughters love the Just Dance app.). Very happy they made these updates.

Love the fact that you can view/stream your iPad or iPhone display, photos and videos on to the big screen, thanks to Apple TV! Also love the quality of the games and ability to watch shows and movies from iTunes on here. Worth it!

Easy to setup and use. Apps are simple to install and use.

This little device come with many useful features. Feature used most often is the AirPlay feature. From any of my Apple devices (MacBook, iPhone, iPad) I stream videos or mirror my device to view them on my TV. Well worth the price.

The latest Apple TV comes with most of the bells and whistles you would expect from Apple at this point. A large collection of usable apps, the majority of the streaming services you would like (except Amazon video), and very decent image/sound quality. Not yet 4k compatible though, need to wait until October for that version.

Absolutely love it. Definitely recommend!! Its like having my phone but on the TV. There are alot of great apps and its so easy to browse through everything. I want to get another for my living room. I no longer have cable at home.

really like the ability to only download the apps that I want. The new update that added TV, the ability to bring together all the things that you watch is nice in theory, but needs to be worked on a little to make it smoother.
