This product is pretty cool, but I would only recommend to those who are a true apple connoisseur. The one thing that I love about this product is that it hooks up to pretty much any tv that has an hdmi hookup.

I own a few of the streaming boxes (roku, fire tv, WD live tv) and I finally purchased the Apple TV a few days ago. The set up was pretty easy. I have other Apple devices so was able to easily connect to my account. The interface is pretty clean and easy to navigate. Was able to download apps and it had all the content that I'd purchased in the past (music mainly). The remote seems to work well. The touch pad worked ok with the bowling game I played. I tried Siri to find an app but it didn't recognize it. I said Plex which is an app I know is in therir app store but it didn't bring it up. Maybe you can't search for apps in the app store, only apps that you currently have on the device? Other than that, I didn't feel like the Apple TV really offered anything more than the other players. It doesn't offer 4k like Roku and the Fire tv, but that's not that big of a deal since streaming 4k isn't good anyway. The big issue though is the price. Apple has added a premium to their box when it doesn't really deserve one. I got the $199 one because they were out of the $149, but even the $149 one is more than the other streaming boxes. So I knock off a star because of the higher price. Otherwise, it's a good streaming box.

I can't think of many reasons why I wouldn't recommend this. At worst the only thing is it doesn't have a built in Spotify app. But you can still stream your music to it from it, so it functions like it does. Otherwise fantastic.

Apple TV allows you to do two things - first to organize your TV viewing and then to serve as a hub for Apple Homekit enabled devices. Both functions are flawless. This product just keeps getting better and more useful.

There is a lot more there that I know about! I therefore took an Apple TV class at the Apple Store. Very impressed with the product. You do have to get used learn to the remote! It is very delicate! Happy with our purchase.

Little hard to set up for the newcomer, but still great

So it doesn't do 4k, but that is ok since it is the best streaming device available today. 1080p is still the main format in 2015 and will continue to be until all of the networks switch to 4k in 5-10 years. The interface is so much better and the device is so much faster than the previous model. I love the fact it picks up AC Wi-Fi now. The app store is nice since I can download the apps I wish to and it has so much potential. I also love the beautiful panoramic city screensaver, like this morning it had a vid of fog moving over the Golden Gate in San Francisco. If you are looking for the best streaming 1080p device today, look no further then the 4th generation of this Apple device!

I'm an Apple guy and am definitely not disappointed with the upgrades they've made to Apple TV. It can be a bit tricky to get used to how it works but if you've used any Apple products before it won't take long at all.

My daughter has an Apple TV I saw how she used it I got an Apple TV now we can share our app purchases together as a family by movie once both my daughters and their families can enjoy it and the set is 123 done almost plug n play

Cool apps but complicated to add. Like the new features.

This is an awesome product. I no longer have cable so this makes it easy to view all my shows. Plus it goes well with all the other apple products I have. I also love the option that I can pull all my pictures up on the tv.

The new Apple tv is a superb device from its legacy model. Setup with iTunes and network configuration is simple. Access to online is very user friendly. SIRI Is a very helpful tool. Overall another great Apple product!

The new Apple TV is a great multimedia device! I love the fact that I can stream all of the popular services on a single device; Netflix, Hulu, HBO Now, etc. Plus, now that it can play games too makes it even better!

Great deal for 64gb unit ($159) so I can't complain. It's fun to play games with the kids, stream movies and tv shows on. The remote is nice but with kids I'd recommend some sort of case as it is very expensive to replace.

I have been using apple products for some time now which is spread over few year as a Apple TV user I can tell you it a giant leap from what Apple TV was and what it is. It if you love apple you would love this product even more

This is my 3rd Apple TV. Upgraded from 3rd Gen to this 4th Gen mostly for the upgraded memory and remote. The touch enabled remote is easy to use and the voice enabled remote capability is neat to use. No problems so far.

Had an older model which we liked. Needed to upgrade and very happy we stuck with Apple TV. Better features with easy setup and options. With all the apps out for steaming we can access them all through this device.

The addition of the App Store is nice. Worth the upgrade.

When purchasing this, I was misinformed to believe that any app that had been purchased on the iTunes/app store could be played on the Apple TV, thus making your TV a giant iPad. I was wrong. Not only did all the apps I really wanted to use or play were not available, the apps they did have were kind of generic (limited selection), clunky, and full of spam (wanting you to buy the full version of the app from the app store. With already having a Playstation 4 with Netflix and HBO Go on one TV, a Playstation 3 with Netflix on another, and a Smart TV with Netflix on it, it didn't enhance our movie capability. The screen savers are cool, and you can listen to your music that you own from iTunes, but I don't have a great stereo hooked to my TV so it doesn't currently add that benefit. I am sure I haven't exhausted all of the features of it yet, but it currently isn't the most satisfying piece of tech I own.
