I had the previous Apple TV, and this is an excellent upgrade. The hand controller is greatly improved making navigation around the interface much slicker. The AirPlay function with its link to your iPad or iMac impressive. I did not give it 5 stars only because there was no application available to Amazon with its movies and content for its Prime members (like me!).

I think the Apple TV is great. I just wanted HBO go and the fire stick can do that for much cheaper. Other than mirroring the iPhone it doesn't do much worth $200 dollars. You still have to have a cable subscription to make most of the changes function properly. It is better to get a cable box and a cheaper fire stick type revice because it might be cheaper in the long run.

It's an Apple! Works as advertised, easy to use, the new remote is quick to learn and using Siri makes searching a snap and putting in passwords a breeze. Will be adding a third Apple TV soon.

[In my opinion] our existing Sony "box" and apps in smart tv. The menu is user friendly and less cumbersome. The apps are useful and the remote is easy to use. There is also a "remote" app for iPad. Voice control vis Siri is a useful feature for us. Setup was easy and there are many features which are customizable.

I like the new live screen saver, and the ease of setup via iphone and blue tooth, but I think it's priced too high for what it does. They boast that you can now play games on it, but just about every game available for it is a drain on your wallet. not worth it. They should have made an option that offered the regular apple tv, with the newer screen saver and interface.

I had the latest Apple TV as well and loved it, this new one has only compounded on that. Works more like your iphone now, you can flip between open apps, close them, download apps such as games and the new addition of the Siri remote is fantastic.

Full disclosure: I'm an Apple fanatic and have owned every iteration of this Apple TV product. While it's pricier than competitors' products, Apple knocks it out of the park with its interface, iTunes and App Store access, and Siri-enabled remote. Can it be improved? Absolutely--by making a deal with Amazon to FINALLY include Amazon Prime access, and by hopefully making more frequent updates to the software (so we Apple TV lovers don't have to keep buying new hardware). But it's by no means a deal-breaker for me. If you like an easy-to-use, beautiful (and even fun) piece of tech, this is for you. Set up is a breeze and the "learning curve" to the new layout is pretty small.

Another great Apple product. Setup couldn't be easier. Had the unit hooked up and connected to the home network in about 5 minutes. The remote takes a little getting used to, but easily adjusted to it n a short time. Simple and intuitive to use. Great selection of streaming apps and games. Couldn't be happier.

My previous model of Apple TV was great but this new version is even better. Great apps and games available. A little taller than my previous model but still a good size. Set up is easy with your iphone or ipad, but a little clunky with the remote. Wish Apple would include necessary cable with their products.

This one is so much better than the original. We decided on the 64G version knowing that once synced with our other apple products our pictures, videos and music files would need take almost all of the 32G version. Love to be able to choose what apps we want vs. the original, which had them all pre-loaded.

Sure it covers all the same bases as other streaming boxes at a more expensive price tag, but the real value here is in the app store. It will take a while but once developers start porting there apps and ideas over to the Apple TV (4 gen), then I think the platform will really take off and show its value.

Apple products are always the best. Especially when you have all Apple devices. We only have Apple devices. So it works perfectly with all of them. We mainly bought it for the gaming aspect, but the other apps are great too. Allowing streaming, Apple Music, videos/movies and AirPlay from all our devices.

I love my Apple TV. Easy navigation, a good amount of apps. 1080P looks great on my 65" Sony 4K. If you want to play games on it the remote works ok. However I may consider a controller if I get any games. Connected easy to my computer and can share all my music, movies and pictures I have stored on it.

I have a Roku,Amazon Fire stick,and the Apple TV,I definitely get the most enjoyment out of my Apple TV.I love the mirroring function,and that new Siri remote is off the chain.The unit is functional,obscure,and it brings a whole new level of enjoyment to my tv watching experience.

The new apple tv is quite the upgrade from the last one. You can download movies via the hardrive. The touch remote is sensitive and cool but could use a handy to relax after such a hard day of being inaccurate. Worth 2 hundo? No if you arent going to save movies to it buy the old one for way less than half the price. The user interface is cleaned up and nice. Thats a plus. Look everyone JoJo the idiot circus boy and his pretty new pet!

We were worried that we would not use it often but it has been a wonderful addition to our house. We can mirror anything onto our tv from our phones, iPad or mac computer. It has a great selection of apps that can be used with it too. Only down fall is you can only have one remote to use with it.

The ability to choose only the apps you want it great. I think Apple was getting a little excessive with all the apps on the previous generation that you didn't use and couldn't delete. As more and more developers create great apps, this is going to be a great devise and change the way we watch tv.

The difference between this Apple TV and the generation before it is that you can customize this with any apps you want. It does come with apps that are downloaded already but you can add more or delete them. It is very fast, no lag time at all. It is also very easy to use, my 3 year old can turn it on and find his tv shows (Teen Titans) and push play. I just wish you could make a playlist on it instead of having to connect it to a computer. I understand why but it's a hassle. Maybe they can update it to do so in the future.

I've had the Apple TV 2nd Generation and was conflicted on spending money on the latest generation 4 model, but once it installed and I started using it I am pleasantly surprised. Siri works great, it is so much easier and enjoyable to find a family movie for our spectrum of viewing interests.

This device is pretty awesome. You can play games using the remote and also connecting an iOS device to have muliplayers. Love the capability to talk into the remote to easily find something. It's also great that we can add apps that weren't previously available for other apple tvs like Plex.
