We had an old Apple TV from 2008 and it was getting glitchy, so it was time for an upgrade! Lots of new features than our old one. Siri, able to download apps/games, better remote, able to turn the volume of the tv on the remote. If you're an apple user the interface is super easy to navigate. Also a plus, when we put the Apple TV to sleep, the tv will turn off as well, a major plus for us. Hoping the quality is still there as the old one since it lasted 8 years! I know there are more features but we are stil discovering them all. One thing I wish we can add is amazon prime but we have hulu and Netflix so that makes it okay.

As usual, Apple delivers a solid product in the apple lineup. The user interface is beautiful and easy to navigate. The App Store is lacking in content, but it is a flagship in the tvOS environment. Siri is great but has its limitations. Not every app has it fully integrated as of yet. Overall, it is a great upgrade from the previous generation. I look forward to new updates to see what new features get integrated.

New generation of Apple TV is definitely better than previous one. Picture is much sharper and menu is very crips. Best part about it that you can now install applications from Apple app store and I believe it is just matter of time before we will see some good games and apps for Apple TV.

Love my new Apple TV. Being able to only download apps I am interested in is great. Combined with a smart ultra 4K TV is perfect. And the fact that Apple upgrades all your previous movie purchases automatically to 4K (if that movie is available in 4K) is awesome.

I upgraded from the previous version. Even though this doesn't support 4K streaming, the Apps are great. The home screen is not cluttered because you only install the apps you want. The new touch remote is very responsive.

I have had Apple TV since 2010 and have always loved the option to share video from my mobile devices and laptops. The added ability now to choose which apps you would like to save & use later without taking up memory for apps you may never use is a huge win and makes the pricier upgrade well worth it. The added features and ability to play your Apple Music subscription from the streaming player are excellent

I hated how high my cable bill was, but was also reluctant to cancel my premium channels (I'm a Game of Thrones junkie!). But took the plunge at the strong advice of a friend, and bought the Apple TV. Extremely easy to install, and the smart remote has easy access to Siri. The reduction in my cable bill will be more than enough to pay for the Apple TV within 2 months. Best of all, I have access to current shows and lots of retired shows that I'm now binge watching. Don't over think it. Just do it.

Works with great speed, easy menus, a rechargeable remote. This is my favorite streaming device. Quality performance and design that you have come to expect from Apple.

I've been waiting for the Apple TV 4 for a long time. I bought it as soon as it came on the market and only read the tech magazine reviews. It's almost like a game machine and a streaming machine all in one. I can listen to all my own music and all the songs in the Apple Music library just by talking to Siri. Great App Store and Netflix & Hulu too! Plays all my photos from icloud and from my iPhone and iPad.

Love how well the new Apple TV functions. It is easily navigated. The main menu is not cluttered with apps from the start...you can pick and choose what you want. The best feature is how some apps (ESPN, Disney XD) show live tv or videos playing while you navigate to something new.

I had an Apple TV before the newest version. This new Apple TV allows you to scrub forward and back and be able to see how far you are moving. Must better than fast-forward or rewind on the last Apple TV. The picture delivered to the TV is also much better from this Apple TV.

I have been a loyal apple TV owner since inception. I couldnt wait until they came out with this. It is just what i hoped for. You can add apps, the remote is so much better. Only downside is you have to charge the remote, but the battery is so good it last awhile between charges.

A must for any Apple product fan. Play your iTunes movies through your TV, use AirPlay to display your Mac, iPad or iPhone screen to your TV. Use it to play games downloadable from the app store. Lots of possibilities. Spring for the 64 GB model for the few extra bucks it costs.

The updated remote is a lot better, adding Siri is a plus. Extra memory not necessary.

As a big tv watcher, the Apple TV is great. It allows me to have Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, and every other streaming service I want so I can watch shows, new and old. Generation 2 remote is awesome too. Speak directly into it to find what you’re looking for.

If you don't have one, get one... Way better than the previous generations. I love the app download feature. My kids use it for the games and we just stopped using our Wii U. If apple can Port some bigger name games, this would definitely be the casual gamer device to have.

The Apple TV Gen 4 is awesome! Much more refined than the Roku 3 I have, with smoother transitions and just looks better (no surprise for Apple). The App Store is growing on a weekly basis and once the developers catch up, the potential for the Apple TV is really limitless.

I upgraded my previous Apple TV and been using the new version for few weeks. Very happy with it because has a better performance and bette responsive remote control. Good quality of movies and videos wit a quick streaming function. Not dealt at all.

I have never had Apple tv before, so this is a nice addition. love the apps, easy to control. having siri in the remote is cool and useful. Would buy again, though I'm not sure we needed the larger capacity at this time, it's nice to have too much instead of not enough.

I have had the earlier Apple TV in and I have liked using it.. So , I purchased the new Apple TV Gen 4, man, I absolutely love this upgrade!! Choose the apps you want, play games... I think that it will eventually replace the gaming consoles!! Get it, you will love it!
