Apple always taking care of details, better image, better sound, love the freedom of choose the apps that I need, the remote works amazing, you have to take care of it because is crystal.

My brother has this newest Apple TV and loves it. I was very impressed with its features so I purchased one as a gift for my son and his family. The games feature was a big selling point.

I've owned Chrome cast and Roku but I'm glad I bought the Apple TV Gen 4 during the last promotion.

I was a bit hesitant on upgrading to this new model, however, Im glad I did. The remote control alone is worth the upgrade. Im loving it.

I am Mac through and through with iMac, laptop, iPad, iPhone, Airport Extreme and Airport Express running daily - the addition of Apple TV was a must to seemlessly link to my devices and benefit from Airplay mode. This 4th generation works perfectly and is currently more device than I need with 64 GB of storage - not sure I really needed to pay more for the increased GB over the 32 model. We don’t have 4k tvs yet, but when we do I’ll wish I had the 4k version of this device! There is no reason not to buy the newest 4k release over this older technology - thus my 4 star rating.

This new generation is great! It's easy to use and syncs up nicely with the other apple products. My only complaint is that the remote is kind of small and gets lost in the couch easy.

It is awesome to put all my Apple products linked together with this. Like putting all the great apps that are on my phone now on my tv!

I am slowly trying to transition from paying the outrageous cable fees for stations I do not even watch. Apple TV gives me a vehicle to do this. Also, I like having the larger storage.

This Apple TV is one of the easiest I have have hooked up. It is great now as apps become available nearly everyday and the best is yet to come in the manner of competition to cable tv.

Absolutely love this Apple TV! The remote is much easier to use with the mouse pad, especially when you search for something. I do wish the apps were pre-loaded like the older version.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my daughter and step daughter based on my daughters experience with the previous Apple TV, better interface and lets them use each of their Apple id's

Good upgrade to older Apple TV. It's fast. Loads applications fast and streams all the popular sources. I only wish it was a 4K not a 1080. My other complaint is the remote. It has a touch surface and it wan be a little sensitive. However you can adjust the speed of scrolling to fix that. One great feature of the remote is that it has a volume buttons. I didn't have to program the volume buttons they just worked.

I bought this to replace my AppleTV 2nd Generation (the first "hockey puck") that was crashing all the time. This one runs much faster and is much easier to navigate within a movie or show and AirPlay works great to send Amazon Prime video content from my iPad. I'm still learning the shortcuts and customizations, but some very small annoying things: 1) The search by letter is one long string that you have to slide the cursor back and forth to pick letters, very slow; 2) There doesn't seem to be a Podcast App anymore. I used to use it to view video podcasts on the TV; 3) Games are overrated. Don't buy it for the games. I've never used Roku or Amazon Fire to compare, but if you are in the Apple ecosystem like our family, this is the right choice.

What more could you expect from Apple? The new Apple TV is amazing. It is an all-in-one that allows you to listen to music, rent/buy/watch movies, watch television, and play games!

I had the older version of Apple TV and The new one is so much better. Being able to choose and install apps is great! Dictation via Siri makes "typing" so much faster/convenient!

I like the upgrades that have been included in the newest version of the Apple TVand find that the product is a great upgrade for my system. The biggest advantage for me is the ability to link to my computer to access my music and movies. As much as I like the new design the basic utility is archived in the prior version (currently selling for $69) and may be a better value unless you need the additional features in the new design.

It provides the perfect experience that you would expect from an Apple entertainment product. The box is tiny and unobtrusive, but with a clean modern look, that allows you to hide it behind your TV or display it boldly somewhere near it. It hooks into your apple account and the experience of choosing and downloading apps is pretty much the same as with any other iOS product. What is different and noteworthy is the remote options. The new AppleTV comes with a small remote which has swipe and press capabilities that allow for quick easy navigation of the menu on your TV screen. But if you have an iOS device, then the remote control app makes life even better, especially for typing in pesky passwords, email addresses, and/or searching for specific titles in programs. The output clarity - audio & video - is near perfect on my 60" 1080p Plasma screen. Finally, for iOS device users, the airplay renditioning is perfect. The connecting and sharing of content or screen from your iOS (or Mac OS X) devices is easy to do and is done with incredible quality i.e. low res digital pics looking as good on my 60" screen as they do on my 4" one. Why shouldn't you buy one? a) It is too much money for you and you are happy with the quality provided by the USB stick products - Amazon, Google and/or Roku; b) You have a bigger presence in Google or Amazon; c) You don't spend much time on TV So it works and works very well. If you are in the market, and can afford it, get it. I also went with the higher storage capacity one as you cannot upgrade storage after purchase

I love this everything is right there and works better then my other TV systems that I have even better than cable!! I recommend the Apple TV to everybody I know.

Replaced my old Apple TV with the new model, great new features and options hard wired my internet connection rather than use the wireless and it streams quickly and seamlessly.

My wife wanted a TV device that could play her Apple apps. Basically she was tired of doing workouts using her phone as a video player. Set-up was a breeze as you only need to log onto your Apple account. The apps are user friendly and the remote is easy to use. However, I highly recommend installing the remote app on your phone as it makes searching much easier.
