Very nice update. Sure, it has it's shortfalls at the moment but it is a device for the future. Future updates will determine how far this can go. Until then, I am really happy because it streams vids faster, Siri is okay at best, the App Store will get better, etc...

Too expensive to outright buy, so I got it for my birthday to replace...and it's wonderful. The new remote takes some getting used to, but works well. The best part is the voice dictation - you don't have to try to spell using an onscreen keyboard, which could be endlessly frustrating. A close second is the App Store and apps, but to really enjoy them, I might have to shell out more clams for a controller...

Bought for family Christmas present. Great upgrade over the previous model. Easy to set up and load the apps we want. The new remote is fantastic. Siri voice search is great.

The feature that I most enjoy with the fourth-generation Apple TV is that it streams our subscription-based Apple Music collection. Playlists, artists and songs are usable across all Apple devices that use the same Apple ID. The previous generation streamed only purchases and iTunes matched songs. We also play some of the games that are available using the separately-purchased Nimbus controller.

We got plenty of use out of our original Apple TV, but couldn't wait for the upgrades. The new remote with track pad is awesome! Also getting plenty of use out of the gaming!

This new apple Tv does so much more than the last.

The new Apple TV is a much needed upgrade to previous models. My 2nd gen Apple TV had issues connecting with WiFi, but this model works faultlessly. It needs more panoramic screen savers and an app to control it from ipad/iPhone. The new remote is a huge improvement.

I already had the first apple tv and was very happy with it. As soon as i heard a second one come along I was desperate to get it. Do not regret my decision! It's amazing!

Wish you could get amazon video on unit and not have to go over wireless and use phone or iPad. It would have been nice if it came with keyboard, but I got one that helps. Can update more once use it more.

Before, owning an Apple TV was a useful extension of having a iPad or iPhone. Now, with games and more apps being added weekly, it is a more functional device on it's own.

If you are part of the Apple ecosystem then this is a must have for you. The apps makes ithe device even better. If you are not but still like streaming and playing games then you can't go wrong with this.

The new remote control not only controls the Apple TV device but my Samsung TV as well. The Siri search feature cuts down the amount of time it takes to search for content.

I've had several Apple TV's in the past and this is by far an excellent upgrade. The addition of onboard storage was really needed for those of us that don't want to stream absolutely everything. Resolution is impressive as is the performance. My opinion, a must have for those individuals with music and/or movie collections.

Summary says it all. Apple TV is great for what it is--a streaming media player, that happens to double as an Airplay receiver (great for extending a Mac display) and also a lightweight game console. It's disappointing, however, that it doesn't offer 4k support.

The new Apple TV is amazing. You can control it from any apple device. It is super easy to use. You can download anything on it from the App Store. I highly recommend it!

This is a nice upgrade from the third gen. The processor is faster, the Siri remote and universal search is far simpler for finding shows than trying to hunt around through apps once one gets used to using Siri. The touch remote is also smoother to navigate once one gets used to it. tvOS is off to a good start, although I'd like to see some apps, some updates to some apps that were ported from the third gen, plus any other minor tweaks that need to be made, Apple can address these in tvOS. The hardware itself is solid. The new screensavers are gorgeous. I can't wait to see how far Apple goes with tvOS and apps.

Love to use this product to watch Netflix. Innovative way to connect with the screen and also use voice commands with Siri.

Like all APPLE products this one is well thought out.The apps are easy to find and download.I like the way the different APPLE devices work together .I can use my MacBook and it comes up on my TV with no effort at all.The remote is very user friendly.You can talk to it or use the built in touch pad.I have purchased more units for other members of my family.They love theirs too.Good job APPLE.

The Apple TV is a great way to stream TV but this was purchased for a last minute need to give a work presentation using an iPad. It worked perfectly!

The new Apple TV 4 work fine. I would like to use the memory for movies but looks like only apps and games for now. Like new remote but a little touchy around edges.
