I had the third gen Apple TV and moved it to the other room and use the new one exclusively. It's faster, and doesn't have any trouble streaming over wifi.

Apple let go of control of the apps and now you get a lot less user friendly apps. The addition of siri however is one of the greatest advancements in TV in a long time. Still would recommend good product the best out there for cable cutters.

The Apple TV is no longer overrun with apps. Instead all the apps I want can get installed from the app store. From there I can use Siri to search for any show or app. I can also play games with the extra controller I bought. Not to mention, I can also control the volume with it. It's like a cheaper console but with all the features I would want for a smart device (or smart TV) :)

Way better than the older version. It finds movies or TV shows for you. You can play games on it. you can go to sites to purchase things. Glad I got this.

This device is well worth the cost. I upgraded and I'm very very happy I did. The touch remote alone is worth it. Must have for an Apple person or anyone.

I love this product. The picture and sound is so good ! The only problem I have is with Siri. Searching for music or videos is not very good. It's better to do the manual search most of the time. Other than that, I think it's a good product.

I purchased this product mostly to store my sons movies and pictures, so far I would say I made a great decision. I would recommend this item to anyone!

The new Apple TV is awesome! Love the new format and the ease of using it. Also like the bigger remote. Much easier to use and fits in your hand better.

This is a major update to the apples TV streaming box. I was expecting a bit of an upgrade with this box based on price but the built-in intelligence of this box is amazing. I love the fact that apple can make all the third parties organize shows and movies in a certain way so that "deep" siri integration can search for not only which apps will show my favorite TV shows or movies but will show the differences in prices to help me choose the right one!

I use the Apple TV mostly for airplay and it works perfectly. What I see in my iPhone, iPad or MacBook goes clearly onto the tv screen hassle free. On the MacBook, I can play a movie for my kids to watch on the big screen and then I can open another screen on the MacBook itself to use for working on other stuff at the same time without disturbing the big screen movie. It is very responsive and the controls are intuitive as in most Apple products design. The use for apps is the same as what you can expect from similar devices, there's really nothing special about it. No need to fight over the remote, there's an Apple TV app that you can download on your iPhone and it converts your iPhone into an Apple TV remote. I don't like that most nice game apps are not free (of course). But overall the product in itself is good.

Great update - The user face as always with apple has a nice refreshed look. The remote is the best part with the addition of VOLUME BUTTONS!!! why didn't someone else think of that! Siri is also a nice addition. I'm also much happier with this product thanks to the recent price reduction.

We bought the Apple TV so we could have closed captions for Netfix for an hearing impaired family member. We got way more than we thought. Very simple to install. works perfectly.

I had the 3rd generation Apple TV & this is a nice upgrade. Being able to add apps is nice. Also the Siri search functions on the remote are great.

Great device. I compare with earlier version and certainly glad I made the upgrade. Remote is excellent.

We have had the newest Apple TV for a couple of months now and have enjoyed using it. The ease of moving around the different screens is very nice.

It's easy to set up, easy to use and has everything I was looking for. It keeps my movies, music, photos and some of my favorite apps in one place.

I have owned every version of AppleTV and this was a nice upgrade. The speed that it provided to accessing my library online is worth every penny.

We got this as a gift for my son and his wife to replace their older model. The extra capacity greatly pleased them, and installation was flawless

Faster plus Siri makes this a great hub for TV. The new remote is super easy to use & much more intuitive than previous version. Big thumbs up!
