I'm happy with the new Apple TV, it's a definite improvement over the earlier model. Faster speed and the remote is a big upgrade. SIRI is a welcome addition and fun to use when searching for something to watch. My only con is in the settings. I would like to set another color for the background, the white is a little overpowering on a 4K big screen.

Great Product from Apple, Apple brought back the built in Hard Drive, and has an app store now. Can't figure how to save my movies to it, "yet" Has new remote which is awesome, and combination of Siri, taking it to a whole another level

If you do not have an Apple Tv consider buying the 4th Gen. If you already have a 2nd/3rd Gen you may want to wait. This thing is great, but I think it is missing the killing feature to replace owners of previous generations. I think that killer feature will come soon. I replaced a Roku unit and still have a 3rd Gen Apple Tv. I do not miss the Roku unit, but I must say for the price it would be hard to justify replacing my 3rd gen unit. I love this thing and use it everyday, and will eventually replace my older Apple TV, but for now I'll wait (maybe during a sale). The remote is great and I really liked how I was able to control my TV and my stereo receiver with the remote. Having the App store is great, but it is in really new so the apps are still a little limited. The apps are growing everyday.

This new 4th generation Apple TV is night and day improved over the 3rd generation. Love the fact that you can access the App Store and customize your Apple TV to your style. Great remote and the addition of Siri make this a winner.

The new Apple TV is a really nice upgrade from the previous model. You can pick your apps (including games) instead of getting what Apple gives you. New interface and remote with Siri saves a lot of typing with on screen keyboard.

I absolutely love the new Apple TV. The interface is awesome! We have the ability to download apps and play games. This is totally awesome! I would most definitely recommend this to a friend. I have one on every TV in our home.

I'm the type of person to make use of everything my tech device is capable of doing so I have taken advantage of everything this has to offer. I had the previous Apple TV and loved it but this one is much better. Everything works seamlessly and Siri actually understands me. It's not a device for a true gamer but the occasional game app use is perfect. It acknowledges the movement of my remote perfectly. It has the potential to be a fun family game system like the wii could have been. If they make the remotes more affordable then it could really be fun. I wish there was an Amazon app or fllixster or more games but i believe it will eventually get there. I'm hoping there will be future updates that make this the end all be all tv station. Here's to hoping for the best!

The new Apple TV is much faster and easier to set up. Picture and sound quality is great. The new remote is way better than the original but did take a little time to get used to. Siri integration is also fantastic!!

I love my Apple TV, I already had previous versions of it and was pleased. So it was a no surprise that I upgraded to the newest version. The new remote is a great improvement and the new App Store feature. My favorite feature still continues to be "AirPlay" . Where I stream content from my other Apple devices. The ability to play games on the Apple TV adds another cool layer on this ever evolving device. If you like apple products this is a must buy, if you don't like apple products this is a must buy to experience what you are missing. Sleek, fun, simplicity out of the box.

Apple has outdone themselves with this device. After owning every model prior to this one, the 4th Gen blew my mind. Apps, Games, Streaming movies and Airplay mirroring, what else could you want in a device? The ability to connect bluetooth headsets and game pads really makes this device versatile, good for an all purpose streaming and [App Store] gaming device.

Replaced old Apple TV, much better remote, better home screen not cluttered with channels you don't want/use - customize what you want. App Store nice - occasional games on TV are fun.

This was our second Apple TV 4th Generation purchase. This latest version addresses most of the shortcomings of the Apple TV 3. Taking advantage of HDMI-CEC which allows ATV4 to control the display, the Apple TV Remote is now our primary remote control. Our kids were excited to see many of their favorite IOS games already available in the new TVOS app store. Apps like Plex are now available on the Apple TV which previously was one of the only advantages of also having a Roku. I do wish it was a little more future proofed and supported 4k. That said, the advantages of the Apple TV 4 and particularly the TVOS app store justify its premium price.

This new AppleTV is much faster and more versatile than previous versions. The ability to install apps from the app store and play games makes this the best AppleTV yet.

This latest version of Apple TV is a major improvement over the older models. Everything is "app based" now. SIRI is available for most everything. If desired, an IOS device can be used with the REMOTE app for any necessary typing for searches, etc. This version is faster with less buffering while viewing video clips. One of the better improvements is the remote. It is much easier to use and completly redesigned with touch panel. There are lots of new features that are very user friendly.

Easy set-up and hook-up. Most of the setup can be done on your phone. Lots of apps, wish they had the Spectrum app. The touch surface on the remote take getting used to but eventually makes things easier. Haven't used Siri yet, or the games. A bit expensive but it has most of the apps I need rather than buying a new smart tv. Works great with my other Apple products.

I'm so invested in the Apple ecosystem (apps, movies, tv shows, etc) that I decided to stay with the new Apple TV instead of going with another streaming device. I notice minimal performance upgrades despite the new processor. The device shines in its ability to customize it with the specific apps that you may find most important. The onboard storage is great since many of the apps don't take much space, so either the 32 or 64 gig options will suffice. Siri is really great since you can skip, dictate, and search across multiple apps. I gave it a 4/5 for two reasons: 1. The touch pad is super sensitive and accidentally touching it can cause an inadvertent command. 2. The App Store is very limited since this is a new platform. I think in the future, it will be well worth 5 stars once more apps become available as they did for the iPhone and iPad.

There are so many features it is amazing. It talks to the Samsung smart tv's. The controller touchpad is great and it has the comfortable Apple interface.

Simple and easy to use. The update that Apple did on this Apple TV is fantastic it is very fast and fluid Siri works amazing what a great product

I own 3 of the older model Apple TV units, so when this new model, with downloadable apps and built-in Siri came out, I had to have one. I went for the max memory (always a good call for technology today). Siri works incredibly well! "Find comedy by Lewis Black" searches Netflix and any other enabled apps I have, plus iTunes. The display is crisp and high resolution. Screen-saver pictures from my family Share folder make great screen-savers. I have not yet explored the games and other apps that Apple TV can install- but I look forward to it!

To sum it up, content is king. There is some content, but not nearly enough yet. Specifically, the apps. While Apple touts a high number of apps, most are garbage, similar to what you'd find free for your iPhone/iPad. The truth is, the selection is slim and many of the apps you'd expect to see aren't there....yet. I know that in time, this will change. The bigger issue for me is the lack of a web browser and no 4k support. I knew both of these things ahead of the purchase but for $200, I would still like to have those features (4k support found in Amazon Fire TV and Roku). I'm holding out hope for updates and better apps. Still, it's a solid product, airplay and mirroring works great....the remote is very nice and accurate as a game controller. Fingers crossed...
