Ive been using the older Apple TV model for some time now and thought it was time for an upgrade. The new remote and updated layout were both great upgrades and being able to store files directly on the systems drive is definitely a plus. If your already a fan of the Apple ecosystem I would recommend this device.

It's what you should expect from an Apple TV device. The new remote is a bit touchy, but seems to work great otherwise. It's a bit taller than the old units. It has a fancy new interface. You can play some of the games from the App Store, but if you like to play games there are better options than this. Operation is the same as the older units. I'd say there's no need to rush out and replace all your old Apple TV boxes. The experience is basically the same.

The addition of Apps is a more than welcome feature to the Apple TV. Siri support is fun and makes searching much easier.

Am a user of the previous generation of Apple TV and this one is far superior...love the apps, love the storage, etc...

Liked the old Apple TV but really like the new one and the additional features.

This latest generation of the Apple TV brings awesome new features to an already fantastic product. The remote works very well, and the new interface is awesome. WORD TO THE WISE: I bought this as an extra to travel with for hotel use. It cannot be used in hotel rooms where the WiFi redirects you to a page for sign in.

Worth the money, 64 GB preferred especially if you have kids that cycle TV shows and there is spotty internet at times.

This was a great purchase. Easy for the kids to use. They are able to mirror their iPhone and play games.

This is a great product and easy to use but I heard there will be a new release ATV this spring with a faster processor

This might be one of the easiest pieces of technology I've ever set up. Very user friendly interface, very intuitive.

Never had, always wanted, glad I bought! Have always heard about the Apple TV and have friends that own it. Super easy setup and configuration. Haven't had the freezing like most reviews that I've read. I sideloaded a bunch of applications to it and haven't been happier with it. Love Apple products.

Works faster than original apple TV. Like the app store to put on what you want and not what apple wants you to have.

The most compelling feature of the new Apple TV is support for apps beyond those found in previous generation Apple TVs. I purchased the 64 version but I am not sure whether the 32 version would have been more than sufficient. If you're on the fence between the 32 and 64 version, I would say save $50 and purchase the 32 version. Currently, there are also a limited amount of apps for Apple TV. I am sure this will change in the future but it will take sometime for this change to occur. The biggest negative for this Apple TV is that they removed support for Bluetooth keyboards. Come on Apple, what were you thinking! I hope support for Bluetooth keyboards will occur with this Apple TV

Apple does it agin, I love the new Apple TV, the new controler is great, it is a little sensitive, but it's worth it.

Bought this as a Christmas gift. It was perfect, I'd buy this again. It's a simple device to use and works perfectly

It has worked flawlessly since I bought it. I know it's in direct competition with Amazon but I'd like to be able to stream from my Prime account. It's also missing access to VUDU/Ultraviolet...

Now I can stream all my Apple devices on my tv. And use Netflix Hulu etc. also the games are cool too.

I had an older version of the Apple TV that I was pleased with. I wanted to do another Apple TV and decided to look at the 4th generation. After some research, it seemed the newer version was geared more towards gamers and/or people that are totally into Apple products, which I am neither. But, I am a believer in going with newer technology when making a purchase, so I went with the 4. I have been very pleased with several things the 4th generation has that I didn't have before. First, the remote provides more functions than the really basic old Apple TV remotes. The remote also has a touchpad type of function and voice command, which really gives more options for users. I'm sure there are more things I can do with it that I haven't learned about, yet, but I'm confident is saying the Apple TV 4 is easier to use than previous generations and the remote technology is definitely any improvement. I'm told I can use the remote as a game controller, but that's not my thing. For me, it was worth spending $100 more than I would have on the 3rd generation.
