The new model is very user friendly and has may other capabilities the other version doesn't. Many more apps and better search options. Like the remote as well. Great buy!!!!

A must for HBO now users

This turns your tv into a giant iPad, apps and all. Great product, remote, and features. A must have for your entertainment center!

Cancelling Cable

Good but needs tweaking

There is no longer significant lag when loading Netflix shows as with the 2nd & 3rd generation units. Setup was a snap with my iPhone, and the recent update brought Remote (iOS) support. I am sure the the 1st quarter 2016 tvOS update will make the experience even better. Sometimes Siri needs to be told what you want to watch twice, but this is a minor problem. Opens Hulu, the. You ask again and the show is pulled up for example.

Apple = Fantastic

Along with addition to add 3rd party apps, worth the cost alone, it is much faster! The use of Siri and voice commands greatly reduces the use remote.

This unit has the Siri which makes finding what you want quickly. Better remote to access programs more than one way. Like talking into the remote to Siri and command.

They keep getting better and better! The latest version is no exception. Great functions and the addition of an expanded memory adds to the excellence of this premium streaming device.
