Item was a opened purchase. It works just like I would expect a Apple TV to work. No instructions but the controller was easy to learn for a tech guy like me. I am able to stream movies and video from a mobile hotspot with no problems at all.

We bought this Apple TV after buying a new "big TV" for our family room. The new TV has Netflix built-in, so our primary motivation for the Apple TV was to be able to watch movies for which we had iTunes digital copies. The Apple TV works great for that purpose; picture is fantastic, and it rarely hangs up while streaming (though that has happened a few times). I have mixed feelings about the remote with touchpad. It is very nice to look at, and works OK overall, but it can be tricky to navigate through some of the menus by dragging your finger across the touchpad. I think I prefer the traditional directional controls on the previous-generation Apple TV. We haven't used it for much besides watching Apple movies; I downloaded a couple of games to it but haven't played them much. I'll probably use that feature more in the future.

I love apple products but this purchase by far is well worth the investment! I can watch movies, play games, listen to music & mirror from my iPhone! I love it!

Wow this new model is awesome so easy to use! And Siri makes it that much better. Also like how now you can buy and add apps like you would on your phone!

Very happy that apple decided to upgrade the model. I had my old apple TV for many years and this was a nice upgrade. It seems that more providers are coming out with apps and making it very easy to replace cable with streaming services. Very happy with my purchase!

This is a awesome update from the 3rd gen. Apple TV. Now it has an App Store with tones of apps so far. Has Siri built into the remote. 64gb memory. The only thing I'm kinda bummed about is with all that space you can't store your music on it.

The new remote took a little getting used to, but I'm quite fond of it now. The free Apple Remote App is also a very nice alternative, particularly if you need to do any typing input. Love having control of what channels/apps are listed. Works perfectly all around.

It's one of the best purchases that I have made in awhile it has lots of apps no need for cable just fast internet. You can stream just about anything you want

Bought this to stream video to my Android Sony tv from an Apple compatable trainer app. Works like a charm and easy to set up. Does the job flawlessly.

I had my 2nd ben apple tv for years and was patiently waiting for an update. This apple tv model is the one to buy, supports just about every format and the new touch remote with siri is awesome when you want to find something to watch quick. Highly recommended.

I love this device . I especially love how you can AirPlay from your iPhone to your Apple TV. Two thumbs up.

Very user friendly, especially if you are already familiar with Apple products

Had the previous version of the Apple TV. Was happy with it but was intrigued by new features such as touch controller and Siri interface. Very easy to set up and use. Like the new interfaces plus being able to access the App Store. Glad I upgraded

Setup was easy as it pulled the wifi settings from my iPad. The controller is very intuitive and it controls my sound bar as well without any setup on my part.

This is my second AppleTV. I use this one in my office for viewing news on HDTV, and also for screen sharing. Sometimes I can have a WebEx going on, and be doing work on my other two screens. It's pretty cool. I can monitor world events and also do real work.

Had the initial apple TV and wanted another for our new tv. The apps feature is great. Love the new controller compared to original. Would highly recommend.

New control really makes operating this new version of Apple TV much easier.

I had the Apple TV original the format on this is about th same. I do like the voice remote and the Bluetooth remote works great up to 30 ft away. I just like having the newest items from Apple but I don't see the reason to upgrade from the old one to this.

love it now that they finally have prime video! we are FINALLY off cable and using PS-vue for TV, and apple movies, netflix and prime video for movies. set up instantly with my iphone via bluetooth. waaaaaaay easier than my apple TV v2
